Here is some information for everyone attending the Kim Ewalt Obstacles and Trail Clinic out here at the EE Ranch in White City on Saturday and Sunday. Start time will be 9:00 a.m. on both days. The first day, Saturday, we start with halters and lead ropes on the ground in the outdoor arena. After we have shown the horses the obstacles while on the ground, we will saddle up and ride.

People have been asking about lunch on Saturday, so we decided that we will all get together and go to Sammy's, a little Burger Shop just a mile down the road, where we can sit inside and enjoy a burger and a milkshake. Sammy’s is very reasonably priced, but if you want to, you can pack a lunch instead. We will head back to the ranch and do our trail ride on the property with an approximate end time of around 3:00 or 4:00 p.m.

On Sunday, we will again start at 9:00 a.m., meeting up at the ranch, then loading up and heading off site for our group trail ride. Location is still to be confirmed, but we are tentatively planning on going to Denman. We will confirm all the details on Saturday. Everyone will need to pack a snack and/or lunch and bring a bottle of water or other drink.

On Sunday, when we meet to haul off property, some riders do not have horse trailers and will need to hook up with someone who does. If you have room in your trailer and can haul someone else’s horse, let me know. If you need to have your horse hauled, please let me that as well.

If you have a balance due, please bring it in cash first thing Saturday morning. Thank you.

It looks like the weather is going to be great for us and I look forward to seeing everyone! This should be a great weekend. Kim

Here is the information for participants of our upcoming Level 1 Dr. Peters Horse Brain Science Clinic on May 15, 16 and 17. Those dates are on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We start with an introduction on Friday night at 5:00 p.m. that will run roughly two hours. Saturday and Sunday are full days starting at 9:00 a.m. and they will run until approximately 4:00 p.m. There will be plenty of breaks throughout the day and there is also a lunch break where lunch will be provided for a fee for anyone who would like to join us.

Just a reminder that the clinic will be in an outdoor covered area, so please watch the weather and dress appropriately. We suggest that you bring a pad and paper for taking notes as there will be a lot of information coming your way.

We have lots of seating available, but you are welcome to bring your own chair if you would like. Please bring your balance for the clinic in cash on Friday. We will be collecting fees and signing all the paperwork on Friday evening before we start. For anyone that hasn't been to the ranch before, our address is 10984 Meadows Road, White City. Ours is a large white house with a green and white barn sign that says EE Quarter Horses when you pull onto the property. Please follow the signs to the parking area for anyone who is traveling from out of town. We have multiple hotels close by and there are some in White City as well. There are also some hotels in Shady Cove. Both towns are about the same distance away from the ranch. There is also dry camping on the ranch at no charge if you'd like to stay here.

This is a working ranch so please do not bring pets with you. No video taping is allowed but you are welcome to take all the photos you would like. If you have any more questions feel free to text me (Kim) or call at 541-821-0422. I look forward to seeing everyone. This is going to be an exciting weekend!
