Say hello 👋 to this handsome man! Banjo (previously Rocky in another life) has chosen to hyphenate even though it makes no sense. Banjo 🪕 is a 1-2 year old Pitbull mix. He is neutered and fully vaccinated.

Banjo was confiscated from his home due to criminal activity as well as animal abuse. He, unfortunately, was tied and left alone on more than one occasion. Because of this, Rocky-Banjo has separation anxiety, which we are working on. He will have an adjustment period in a new home as he navigates boundaries and learns new routines.

✨️The Good Stuff✨️

Banjo is super friendly with people! He just needs to work on manners a bit, but he is doing really well in obedience training with trainer Casey. He is food AND toy-motivated, and learns quickly!

Banjo is also friendly around dogs, but still has socialization to do. He shows a lot of friendly play signals and should do well with a dog friend one day.

Like most pibbles, Banjo is a cuddlebug, and is calm and snuggly when you are calm. Great couch 🥔 potential! He loves to carry a stuffie around in his mouth, and will play in the kiddie pool and dive for snacks!

Don't sleep on this super adorable guy with a heart of gold! Call Wheeling Animal Hospital and Pet Resort today at (847) 520-7387 to set up a meet-and-greet!
