FORMER SOS KITTY NEEDS NEW HOME!

Hi SOS Friends-

Seeking a forever family for a former SOS kitty who was adopted from us in 2019. His owner is moving into an assisted living and can’t take him. He was known as River when we was with us but his new name is Blitzen. He is a single kitty who is reportedly healthy and up to date on vaccines. About 5-6 years old. He is located in Washington Twp.

He has until May 10 to find a new home. If you’d like to consider adopting him, please message me and I’ll get you in contact with his owner. Or, If a rescue can step up to take him to guarantee his safety, i would greatly appreciate it. Living in Florida, i am unfortunately no help in this case 😭

Merry Christmas from Florida! Thinking of all my SOS Alum this holiday season and hope that everyone is healthy and getting spoiled with lots of treats, cat scratchers, new toys and catnip! My favorite Christmas tradition was clearing the adoption center in time to see all the fur babies with their new families. Miss you all so, so much!

Anyone missing this baby in Rockaway??

ROCKAWAY, NJ

This cat was found in Rockaway, NJ and a resident took the cat inside their home and moved with in a week of brining it indoors to Mt. arlington and turned the cat into our shelter…
This cat is a neutered male VERY friendly, has many extra toes on his front feet, but unfortunately no microchip!

SOS Alum missing in Wharton ! Please share!

Update! Bluebell has been found and reunited with her owner. A good samaritan who was walking happened to see her and was able to grab her and bring her back home.

Missing from Baker Ave in Wharton. Escaped when someone left the front door open. Bluebells owner is currently bed ridden and cannot physically look for her or hang posters. If you think you may have seen her, please message our page with details.

Area of Baker Ave, Michigan Ave, W. Blackwell St, Columbia St, E. Central Ave.

She is being monitored for pancreatitis. It is imperative to get her home quickly.

I’m happy to announce that we will be doing trap-neuter-return (TNR) this spring for local residents near Hopatcong/Rockaway/Denville who have ferals that need to be fixed and vaccinated!

What is TNR?

Super handsome FIV+ kitty needs a home…Rockaway/Dover, NJ

Boyfriend is 5 years old and FIV+. He used to live at a cat colony that SOS did TNR for but decided he wanted to be an indoor kitty after he sustained a (since healed) injury. He uses a litter box, loves butt scratches and even sits on laps. He drools when he’s excited and purrs like a beast. He loves catnip and plays with toys. Boyfriend is current on vaccines and neutered. FIV+ / FeLV-
