Mercedes (Black and Tan, 10) and Zeus (Black, 9) are a bonded pair looking for a soft place to land where they can spend their golden years together. ❤️

Volunteers describe them as well-tempered, playful, gentle, and loyal. They enjoy going for walks, hanging out together, and simply being by each other’s side. Whether they’re out enjoying the sunshine or relaxing together, Mercedes and Zeus are happiest when they’re together.

Mercedes does require daily medication, and our adoption team would be happy to discuss her care with interested adopters.

🐾 Quick shout-out 🐾

If anyone is looking for in-home dog nail trims, my friend offers them and comes right to you! She’s been working with animals for a very long time and is incredibly loving, patient, and caring with them. ❤️🐶

She also offers pet sitting outside of the Weymouth area, so if you’re a little farther away and looking for someone trustworthy to care for your pets, definitely reach out!

🐾 Pooch Patrol Schedule Update 🐾

I will be taking Tuesday, August 18th and Wednesday, August 19th off for my mom’s services.
Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and kindness during this difficult time. I truly appreciate it more than you know. ❤️

I’ll be back to my regular schedule on Thursday. 🐾

To my Pooch Patrol family,

My mom passed away last night after a long and courageous battle with cancer. 💜
I want to thank all of you for being so understanding over the past several weeks when I've needed to cancel or change schedules to be with her. Your kindness and patience have meant more to me than you probably realize.

I don't know the arrangements yet, so for now I plan to continue working. Honestly, spending time walking all of your dogs will probably be a much-needed distraction and a little bit of normalcy for me right now. 🐾
Once the arrangements are made, I will need to take some time off. I'll let everyone know as soon as I know which days I'll be unavailable.

Thank you again for all the understanding, kindness and support you've shown me and my family during such a difficult time. I truly appreciate every one of you. 💜
