Thank you, Valparaiso Senior Village, for hosting Rivet of Visit with Rivet's inspiring visit with residents, showcasing that with determination, anything is achievable, even without sight. Rivet, born blind and sent to a shelter for her disability, loves meeting new friends.

Would you like Visit with Rivet to present at your school, senior center, or business? Rivet is prepared to meet you. Visit with Rivet is a formal outreach program affiliated with Giant Paw Prints. Rivet, a mastiff mix born blind, was rescued from a kill shelter that was surrendered due to her disabilities. Rivet exhibits intelligence, affection, and normal canine behavior.

Rivet was born blind and sent to a kill shelter. GPPR pulled her and she started training. Now a therapy dog at nursinghomes and schools.
