Garfield and Team Anastasia want to let you know that the results of the Sweetheart Contest are in and Team Anastasia finished in 4th place thanks to your kind support! Garfield did a wonderful job of standing in for Anastasia at the event and he hope you will remember that he and his buddy, Midnight, are still searching for their forever home. Tomorrow is the BIG day! The main Sweetheart Event is tomorrow, 10am to 4pm at the Valparaiso Moose Lodge. Won't you stop by and shop and vote for Team Anastasia. Anastasia checked in from her new home to see how things are going and was sad to see her team has dropped into 4th place in the Sweetheart standings. But she knows Garfield is doing a good job of trying to win more votes as we go into the last week of the contest. The big Sweetheart Event is this Saturday, March 21st, 10 am to 4 pm at the Valparaiso Moose Lodge and Team Anastasia will have a lot of wonderful items for sale at the event. Garfield is a little under the weather so he doesn't know if he will be able to attend but if he can't he is sure that his stand-in will do a awesome job of wining votes for the Team. He wants you to know that there will also be a delicious hot lunch available at the event as well as many other fun things. Please stop by if you can!

Anastasia wants to introduce you to her new stand-in, Garfield. This team of kitties has been so lucky, first Anastasia found her new home so she asked Binx to step in and complete the contest and then wonder of wonders, Binx got an approved adoption last weekend and will be going home soon. We are so thrilled for both of these wonderful cats. Garfield is a sweet young boy who was found by one of our wonderful volunteers and brought in along with two other wonderful cats, Midnight and Peanut Butter. They will all be ready for adoption soon. Garfield is sure he can fill their shoes and get this team to the finish line! He hopes you will help him by voting generously for Team Anastasia! As you know Anastasia has won the best prize and been adopted but she has chosen handsome Binx as her stand-in and she is sure he will do a wonderful job for the team. Anastasia has chosen as her stand-in for the remainder of the Sweetheart Contest, handsome Binx! Four year old Binx joins the contest as the third black cat to run for the title of ICS Sweetheart. He is so friendly and sweet. He knows he can win your vote if you just stop by and meet him. Binx is in Farfis room at the shelter and would love for you to stop by soon!
