Sorry everyone! More Phone Issues with Frontier Communications - which is now Verizon - but wait it was Verizon to begin with...hmmm

Today we have reached out to everyone through text or phone calls. Rest assured that all dogs in our care are all doing great. None of us liked the storm that came through here today, but all are safe and sound. A special thanks to my ladies who sat with the dogs and made sure that everyone was feeling as safe as possible. This storm has affected us all - if there is anything we can do to assist anyone - please do not hesitate to give us a shout.

Up For Adoption! Come Meet Roxie - a female bully breed dog weighing approximately 55 pounds. Roxie was brought to our facility just before July 4th. She was found in the Chesterton area around I49 and 20. After taking her to the vet: she was not micro chipped but did have road rash burns on her stomach and torn paws.

Her holding period is over, she has been fully vaccinated and is now staying with us until a home can be found.

Roxie is super sweet, loves everyone, loves to play ball and tries to please you with her good behavior - she is a quick learner, listens well and loves to give hugs!
Roxie is dog aggressive - so she would need to be the only dog in the family.

As a bonus to the special individual or family that adopts her, Roxie is welcome to stay/board at our facility any time needed. This will also apply to bathing as well.

On July 3rd, this dog was found between 49 and 20 near the Chesterton Area. Porter County Animal Shelter and Bed & Biscuit are working hard to locate the owner. She does not have a microchip. Please contact Porter County Animal Shelter

Please secure your animals during these times! You know the fireworks are coming, you know how your dog(s) react to them. Please keep them safe!
