It has been quite a Veterinary Technician week here at 280AMC!!

We joined with NAVTA (North American Veterinary Technician Association) in celebrating the 2026 Theme – “Credentialed Veterinary Technicians: Endless Compassion, Expert Care; Celebrating the Soul of Veterinary Medicine”

Our nursing team is the heart of our practice and we have honored them each day with goodies, lunches, some practice swag, and more than a little fun 🐾❤️😃

Our All Star LVT team is Trinity Davis, Meaghan Douglas, Courtney Holt, Millie Vick, and Nicole Vincent 🤩

Our LVTs insist on expanding VetTech week to include our top notch Veteriary Assistants who are a critical part of our nursing team along with our students. Tori Cannon, Dara Hay, Carly Orton, and Sam Simmons make up our terrific Vet Assistant group. Merci, Casen, and Harper are our students who round out the team.

We appreciate the dedication, skill, compassion, professionalism, and kindness our nursing team brings every day & we could not do what we do without them! ❤️🐾😊🙏

It is National Veterinary Technician Week! Veterinary Nurses/Technicians are educated in the latest advances in medicine and work alongside veterinarians to give pets the best care possible.
The 280AMC nursing team is the heart and soul of our practice and we could not do what we do without them!

This Fall we are celebrating TEN YEARS of service with two of our key team members! Lori Havlik is our practice manager who does so much behind the scenes to keep Dr. Jay sane and the hospital running smoothly. Stefanie Pemberton leads our client service team making sure every visit is a welcoming and hospitable as possible.
It is truly special and a blessing to celebrate a decade of excellence and “Ten Years of Making us Look Good!”
We are so appreciative of Lori and Stefanie and look forward to more milestones together ❤️🐾😃

I absolutely LOVE our community and seeing so many others enjoy the joke & make us smile with similar photos ❤️🐻🐾

Here are a few REAL facts for you:

*Shelby is a WILD bear and like all wildlife, should NOT be approached!
*Feeding wildlife causes them to lose fear of humans and creates a dangerous situation for the animal and humans.
*Juvenile bears will often travel long distances to establish a new home territory. Shelby is likely just passing through.
*Human development has taken away/modified historical wildlife habitat :(
