Stanley is a smart, loving guy who has already shown us that he knows a few things! He knows sit, paw, and other paw, and he walks decently on a leash. He also responds well to corrections and is eager to learn.

But Stanley’s favorite thing might just be LOVE. He thinks he is a lap dog and will happily soak up every bit of attention you’re willing to give him. ❤️ He takes treats gently with a little reminder and has loved everyone he has met so far at the shelter.

He has a wonderful balance of energy and calm, making him a fun guy to spend time with without being constantly on the go.

Ozzie is your typical puppy — loving, playful, curious, and full of energy! He knows a little bit of sit, does well on a leash, and absolutely loves getting attention. ❤️

Our vet thinks Ozzie is going to be a big boy, so his forever family should be ready for a larger dog with plenty of puppy energy!

He’s still learning about the world, so his new family should be ready for all the fun, training, patience, and puppy antics that come with helping a young dog grow up.

Max is a sweet, affectionate young dog who loves attention and is always happy to soak up some love. ❤️

Max knows sit and down, takes treats well, and is very food motivated. He does need some work on his leash skills — he is a strong, steady puller and could probably give a sled dog a run for its money! 😂

Max is still learning the basics and would benefit from someone who is willing to give him the patience, consistency, and training he missed out on when he was younger. He has plenty of potential and is eager to be around people and soak up all the love he can get.

Max has also lived with a 5-year-old, and we were told they did well together.

He’s a young dog who is ready for someone to give him the guidance, structure, and love he needs to become the best dog he can be. ❤️

Female | 3 Months Old | 20 Pounds

Abby is an incredibly sweet and loving puppy who would happily climb into your lap and get as close to you as possible. ❤️ She knows sit and is very food motivated, which should make training a little easier.

Leash walking is still very new to Abby. When she gets on a leash, she may freeze or try to retreat, so she will need patience and positive experiences as she learns.

Otherwise, Abby is your typical puppy — full of energy, curiosity, and LOVE! 🐶💕

She has also been introduced to cats at the shelter and was more interested in simply sniffing and moving along.

Abby is looking for a family who can give her the patience, training, and love she needs as she grows!

Timber - #33471
Male | 1 Year Old | 50 Pounds

Timber came to us as a stray and was a little thin when he arrived. He has been filling out nicely and is now showing us just how much energy and personality he has!

This boy LOVES getting out of his kennel and immediately breaks into the zoomies. Watching him drift around the turf outside is pretty hilarious! 😂

Timber is highly food motivated and knows sit and down. He has the beginnings of a game of fetch, although he decides for himself when he feels like bringing the ball back. 😉 He does need some work on his leash skills — Timber has one speed, and that speed is FAST! If you aren't keeping up, he may leave you in the dust.

If you're looking for an energetic pup who will keep you laughing and give you plenty of opportunities to work on training, come meet Timber! 🐾

Safe to say...Toy Week has been a HUGE success! 🎾🧸❤️

Watching each dog discover a new favorite toy has been one of the highlights of Doggist. Some proudly carried their toys around, some squeaked them nonstop, and others just wanted someone to play fetch with.

Every toy donated helps make kennel life a little brighter while our dogs wait for their forever families. 🐾
