Hi! I just figured I'd reintroduce myself since I have been having some new followers join and new people reaching out with questions!

My name is Julia! I am the owner and groomer here at Blue Mountain Dog Spa in Weston! I have been grooming since 2021 and have been working in the pet industry since 2019.

I started out as a self serve dog wash attendant and then went to a dog bather at a doggy daycare in tacoma, wa which is where I started to get introduced the grooming world!

Then I moved to astoria oregon after I met my husband in 2021 and that was when I enrolled in grooming school, and got hired on as a groomer in training at a shop in seaside, oregon.

I am mom to a amazing 3 year old little girl and dog mom to Korra pictured in this post!

I decided to open up my own grooming business out of my home once we moved from Astoria to Weston when my husband got a job transfer, so that I could be at home to take care of my daughter and still be able to do what I love to do, which is groom dogs!

I am currently accepting clients on Sundays and Mondays from my first appointment being at 9 am to my last one being at 4 pm for appointments ranging from toe nail trims to full grooms. I will also groom dogs ranging from the tiniest dogs to the biggest ones of them all!

Tried out some tips and tricks that I picked up at the grooming expo last week of condition, then shampoo, then condition again. I used a deshed conditioner, then a deshed shampoo, and then a quick drying/leave in conditioner spray once I got Korra out of the tub. And she released so much hair! This is the cleanest, shiniest, and softest I have seen her coat since we adopted her!!
