I have to cancel classes tonight. My son is on the hospital with GI issues. We will resume next week.

Mocha, the 9 mo old Dachshund, has been going potty in the house (on p*e pads) since she came home... Mom and dad are sick of it so we've been working hard on potty training... She WOULD NOT p*e outside... Look at this HUGE client success!

If you have a dog who's struggling to potty train, give me a call or message me!

I am getting so excited for winter to come... Mostly because I'm looking forward to teaching my dogs some fun new things while they're inside more. That (and my best friend, Ali Phillips) inspired me to extend that fun to you guys! So in November I'm going to be introducing some

** AKC NOVICE TRICK CLASSES! **

YAHOOOOOOOOOO! I'd love to help some people have fun with their dogs and get them titled!! And if the weather gets bad, we'll do it online from the comfort of your home in virtual classes (Don't worry, I did them all through COVID and they were JUST as successful and so much fun)!

Sophie came to me a week ago because she was incredibly rude to guests. She'll rush them on the couch, jump on their backs, gnaw on their socks and sleeves, etc. If it was rude, she did it. One week in, and we're piecing together her routine for greeting guests. She's showing a lot of improvement already.

My Board and Train program uses reward-based methods that teach the dog what to do instead and uses consequences like taking things the dog desires, instead of adding physical pain or fear so associations remain good and emotions can remain happy towards our guests.

The beautiful 5mo old, Freya, is doing in-home training to learn how to greet strangers nicely at home. She's going to be a big girl so we want to prevent jumping up on people. Mom is recovering from a long-term injury so a lot of our training has to take place on the couch. It's such a joy to be able to alter training plans to meet my clients' specific needs. Freya will certainly be an all star!

Sophie has been watching Athena and Carrots play, but she's been too nervous up until now. Athena, so sweetly kept inviting her kindly and she finally started to play with her. Dogs learn best from other dogs. Athena is my BEST helper with this stuff. I'm so proud of her.
