And while we celebrate those adorable faces, remember that dental health is part of your pet’s overall wellness.

Our Fall Dental Promotion runs through November 15:

Meet Leo, our adorable 8-week-old puppy who visited Urban Vet for his very first checkup and vaccinations! 🩺✨

Bringing home a new puppy means lots of cuddles, a little chaos, and so many exciting firsts. And just like any new puppy parent, we know how special these early milestones are! 🥹💚

We’re so happy to be part of Leo’s journey, helping him get a healthy start as he grows from a tiny bundle of fluff into the big, handsome boy he’s destined to be.

Puppy parents, what was your little one like at 8 weeks old? Tell us in the comments! 🐾💬

It’s a fair question—and one pet parents often have! 🐾

Veterinary dental procedures require more than cleaning the visible surfaces of the teeth. Anesthesia allows the veterinary team to perform a more thorough cleaning, assess the mouth carefully, and take dental X-rays while prioritizing your pet’s safety and comfort.

Every pet is different, which is why your veterinary team will assess their individual needs and discuss the appropriate plan.

Our Fall Dental Promotion includes anesthesia as part of the routine dental procedure.

Those tiny teeth are only part of the picture! 🦷

Dental disease can affect areas beneath the gumline, where problems may not be visible just by looking inside your pet’s mouth. That’s why a thorough veterinary dental procedure involves more than a quick look and a cleaning.

Our Fall Dental Promotion includes dental X-rays to help evaluate your pet’s oral health, along with a comprehensive oral assessment with a doctor, routine dental cleaning, and anesthesia.

🐱 Cats: $350 | 🐶 Dogs: $400
📞 Call (630) 541-8088 to schedule by November 15.

Promotion applies to routine dental procedures. Additional non-routine services, including oral surgery, are not included in the promotional price.

If you're running a mixed flock of chickens, ducks, or other poultry, fall is a good time to take a look at whether your current feed program is actually working for everyone in that yard. 🐔🦆

Different birds have genuinely different nutritional needs and what works well for one species can create gaps for another. Ducks, for example, need more niacin than chickens and can suffer without it over time.

As daylight drops and temperatures shift, nutritional demands change too. It's worth a quick conversation before winter sets in and problems are harder to spot. 🙌

Did you know cats can actually sense the season changing before you do? 🍂

Shorter daylight hours trigger shifts in your cat's behavior, appetite, and sleep patterns. You might notice them eating a little more, sleeping longer, or seeking out warmer spots around the house as October sets in. It's completely normal and just their body responding to the change in light. 🐱

Does your pet still eat like a champ? 🐶🐱 That’s great—but it doesn’t always tell the whole story!

Pets may continue eating even when they have dental problems. Some may chew differently, favor one side, or quietly adapt to discomfort.

A professional dental evaluation can help uncover concerns that aren’t obvious at home.

Our Fall Dental Promotion includes a comprehensive oral assessment with a doctor, routine dental cleaning, anesthesia, and dental X-rays.
