Heads up: From September 1 to September 5 we'll be visiting family out of state!

How this affects the shop:
During this time we won't be able to work on any Critter Creations shop orders. All current orders will be shipped off before we leave, but any that are placed from now until we get back will likely be delayed by a few days.

How this affects the rattery:
I will be less responsive leading up to us leaving, while I work to make sure everything is squared away for our trusted rat sitter, and while on the trip. If anyone really needs my attention right away, please put Urgent at the top of your message so I see it!

Alongside our upcoming leaf ledge collection, we’re experimenting with new "Galaxy" ledges and bridges 🌌 The shimmer effect is subtle in shadowy areas, they look best when caught in good light, such as towards the front and lower half of a cage where direct light hits. We'd love your input before moving forward: would you use something like this, or are your setups usually too dim to see the effect?

Update: We're in talks with a few people already, and very grateful for big rat-loving hearts 💜

We have a very special young boy looking for new hammock accommodations that can take care of his needs. He's an incredibly sweet, squishy, playful little guy with a gorgeous chocolate marble coat. He's always at the door looking for attention and loves to popcorn around and play, and he melts into my arm with bruxes and boggles galore when I give him shoulder scritches.
However, the enamel on his teeth didn't develop properly, so they are brittle and may chip, break, and bend. It's very likely he will need routine tooth trims in the future. Any owners will have to be comfortable checking his teeth regularly and have a fund to get them trimmed/filed as needed.

We've been working on a few things and decided to share a sneak peek 👀 Who else is a huge fan of Autumn? It's my favorite season and to celebrate I'm hoping to release a few different leaf ledges so we can decorate our cages in lovely red, orange, and yellow tones 🍁🍂
