✨🐾🏅We have a WINNER for Best Dressed! Congratulations, Walt!
🐾💙 Submitted by Angela, introducing the incredible Walt! 🎉 Five years ago, at the Ripon shelter, destiny brought us together. There were two dogs available, but the first one we looked at wasn't the right fit for my dad. Then, I inquired about the other dog, and to my surprise, I was told he had already expired. Determined, I asked, "Since we got here because when we entered there were two!?!?" The lady went to check and returned with "Corky," who walked up to me with attitude, as if saying, "Well... Let's go!" The shelter had given up on him, but our connection was undeniable. I promised him a better life if he could be a good dog, and the shelter handed him over to me. Five years later, I can confidently say that Walt has brought immeasurable joy and excitement to my life. 🥳✨ He has traveled to 5 states, stayed in fancy hotels like the Bellagio, enjoyed delicious dinners (steak and cheese, please!), and made countless friends along the way. Walt's social calendar is busier than mine, and I take the responsibility of being a dog owner seriously. Owning a pet is a big responsibility, and I strive to give him the best life possible. He may be a rescue, and he may not be perfect, but to me, he is as close to perfection as I could ask for. After caring for sick parents, I knew having human children wasn't in the cards for me. If you think Walt is spoiled, just imagine if I had a human child! 😄 Regardless, I love him immensely and hope to continue celebrating him for many more years to come. Happy "5th" Birthday to my beloved son, Walt! 🎈🎂🐾
