Lessons are offered on our premises by an independent instructor, Summer Coates. We also offer gift certificates for those who want to give prepaid lessons as a gift. acebook page. Summer has experience and training in western. Growing up in a family who regularly rode horses, she spent much of her youth riding locally. The Stables at Moore's Springs is located at the base of Hanging Rock State Park, one of the premier state parks in North Carolina. We offer short-term/weekend boarding for visitors to the area. As a boarder you and your horse will enjoy the following:
- 12 x 12 stalls with mats and an automatic waterer
- Each full boarder receives a tack locker free of charge.
- Acres of lush pasture with safe fencing
- Outside automatic, heated waterers
- High quality hay (fescue/orchard grass)
- Round pen
- Riding arena
- Outdoor washpit
- Indoor washpit
- Routine visits by an exceptional equine veterinarian
- Routine visits by an experienced, competent, vet-endorsed farrier
- Miles of trails including accessibility to Sauratown Trail Association trails
