🦎💙 “I don’t feel like eating.”
Honestly, same sometimes, Dweezil. 😅

This handsome beardie came to see us after not having much of an appetite lately. Reptiles can be very good at hiding when something’s off, so changes like not eating are always worth checking out.

Good news? Dweezil got lots of attention, a full exam, and plenty of admiration for being this ridiculously photogenic. 💙🐾

We are sad to report 😕

After carefully monitoring the radar and forecast throughout the day, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Fourth Friday: Art Hop due to expected storms and severe weather conditions.

While we are disappointed, the safety of our guests, businesses, artists, entertainers, and vendors must come first.

The good news: we plan to reschedule the Art Hop activities for an upcoming Saturday afternoon in conjunction with the Westerville Saturday Market, including art experiences at the Market in the morning and featured artists in Uptown businesses in the afternoon. Stay tuned for details!

☔ The Westerville Saturday Market will still take place tomorrow morning — rain or shine. Please join us to support these local farms and vendors!

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Uptown Westerville. Have a safe, dry, and wonderful weekend! ❤️

Don't miss us tonight at 4th Friday! ❤️🐾

Don't miss us tonight at 4th Friday! ❤️🐾

UPDATE: Our partners at Uptown Westerville Inc. have made the difficult decision to cancel Fourth Friday for this evening due to the weather forecast.

Uptown Westerville Inc. will reschedule the Art Hop portion of the event. Check their social media for future updates.

Due to the Fourth Friday cancellation, a Wander Westerville engagement will be held in the Community Center lobby from 5-7 p.m. this evening (May 22) to answer questions and gather recommendations on the future of the City's Parks, Recreation Open Space Master Plan.

We will also be offering additional engagement opportunities at a later date.

Festival season kicks off tomorrow with the first Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s 4th Friday of the year, Friday, May 22, from 6-9 p.m. on State Street between Walnut and West Home Streets.

The theme of the first 4th Friday is "Art Hop," celebrating the City’s vibrant arts, culture and small business community. Shop vendors, enjoy music and grab a bite to eat or a DORA drink from one of many restaurants and breweries.

Visit www.Westerville.org/4thFriday for details.

Tiny skeleton edition 😄

Drop your guesses below before we reveal it…
Dog? Ferret? Tiny dinosaur?

✨ Spoiler: this adorable little patient is actually a degu! 💙🐾

We love getting to care for all kinds of exotic pets — even the ones most people have never heard of before.

🐰💁‍♀️ Lola came for her yearly wellness exam… and apparently a hair appointment too.

Even rabbits need annual wellness exams, and Lola showed up looking absolutely fabulous for hers. The bangs, the fluff, the attitude — honestly iconic behavior. 💅

Routine wellness visits help us keep our bunny friends healthy, happy, and feeling their best (while also giving us the opportunity to admire hairstyles like this). 💙🐾

🐔💙 Something was definitely fowl. 💙🐔

Meet Yankee, who came to see Dr. Kat last week after just not feeling quite right. Luckily, this sweet chicken was in good hands and got all the TLC needed to help get back on track.

Honestly, we love that at My Vet a normal day can include dogs, cats… and then casually a chicken named Yankee hanging out in treatment. 😄

Hope you’re feeling egg-cellent again soon, Yankee! 🐾🥚

🐾💙 Pocket kitten alert. 💙🐾

We’ve recently been partnering with Cat Welfare to help with spays and neuters as a way to give back to our community — and honestly… it also means we get to meet tiny faces like this. 😭

This adorable little kitten is currently available for adoption and clearly already mastered the art of fitting directly into your heart (and apparently your hoodie pocket).

Tiny whiskers. Tiny meow. Massive main character energy. 🐱💙

When “not acting right” turns into… surgery. 🐾👀

This pup came in just a little off — and after some diagnostics, we found the culprit… half a ball in his stomach. Yep. 😅

Cue Dr. Jack and Kendall jumping into action for emergency foreign body surgery. Kendall’s got the big eyes and thumbs up because… well… this is vet med and nothing surprises us anymore.

We’re happy to report surgery went well and this pup is on the road to recovery (and maybe a new toy policy at home 😉).

If your pet ever seems “off,” trust your gut — we’re here to help. 💙

When something scary happens… we’ve got you. 💙🐾

Meet Chandler, who had an injury at home and was rushed over by mom. Situations like that can be overwhelming, but our team was able to step in, explain everything, and get Chandler feeling better.

(In this photo he’s sedated — hence the blep 👅 — but resting comfortably and in good hands.)

Injuries can be scary, but you’re never alone in it. We’re here to walk you through every step and take care of your pets like they’re our own. 💙
