Super basic stuff, but Prince does not like stranger and thats why he is here! Use anything and everything to your advantage. Make it positve for the dog and do fair corrections for the BS. Here we are teaching him leash pressure and thats how I'm going to communicate with him.

As much as I love dog training. I perfer the dogs that will give me a run for my money. The dogs I keep for weeks to months at a time. Those type of dogs make you a good trainer.The ones that will bite you becuse you told it no and corrected it and it comes up the leash at you, the massive resource guarders, and dogs that will bite fearfully becase it was not socialized and hates everybody as well as the super shut down dogs. These dogs are the most rewarding when you see it come to life and the dogs mind changes. I'm fortunate enough to deal with alot of them from all over, but if you have any those little monsters please send them to me 🤣

I honestly have never seen a dog rehab as successful as Kai and I've worked with alot of rescue dogs. Don't ever think its not possible with your dog. She also has a great owner which has kept up the work

Snitch killed it on the car search this morning other then an aggressive alert once, he just turned 6 months .

His food drive is a little higher then his toy currently, but I know it will increase and its still easy to work with because I use multiple different rewards and reward schedules, not to mention the slow maturing. I also use both indirect and direct reward, but mainly direct currently because I want that search strong as hell. In this search I have food and a rolled up towel, some of the areas he searched , he just ignored the food which surprised me.

If your dog is lacking drive in certain areas don't be afraid to back peddle to food, food will 100 percent increase the hunt in your dog if you know how to use it and transition to toys.

This dog knows three commands. search, track and find it , I want him to be independent and learn how to search himself and problem solve , I'm just a dummy with a leash. I have not detailed one time on a search pattern, I just know how to reward where I want him searching.

So close🤣😆 , but she still did a great job! Got her to down about 80 yards out. Reward the small things and the goals you have for your dog will come! 🐾🐕

Here is is a full instruction on how to fix your implied stay. There are multiple ways to do this, but this is how I do it and it works.

Implied stay is pretty much if you tell your dog to down, sit, stand etc , that is what its suppose to do and not move.

All our programs have implied stay, we never tell the dog to stay or wait.

All it takes is a few reps depending on dog, fair corrections and reward,
