Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit organization with a mission to stop the proliferation of homeless cats living hard lives and struggling to find food and shelter on the streets of our local communities. We have all the cats we rescue spayed or neutered, vaccinated, given thorough health exams, and tested for feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). At our no-kill shelter, we provide nutritious food, warm beds and expert care to as many cats as possible with the goal of finding them permanent, loving homes. We release feral cats into managed colonies where they are fed and sheltered.

4 year old Gizmo lives for visitors and hangs out by the door hoping someone will come in to spend some time with him. Gizmo will keep you entertained all day with his silly antics and his never ending curiosity. He would love to see you today at our Open House Event. Look who is waiting for you tomorrow! Herbie is a handsome 3 1/2 year old guy in our Green Room. He loves to play with those wonderful polydactyl paws of his- just look at this serious face he is giving Volunteer Genevieve waiting for the fun to begin (don't you love that white tail tip?)! With his other favorite volunteers such as Terry, he shows how much he adores petting and love while head butting everything around him. Herbie hangs out in his bed that Volunteer John scoops up for a long relaxing lap time. When he isn't playing or soaking up attention, Herbie likes to hang out with his Green Room guy pals, such as Rufus, a look-a-like friend who also loves to play. Come by tomorrow to meet Herbie!

Our new 3 year old boy Nelsen has settled into his Green Room! He has a very handsome orange stripy coat with white mittens and boots. Volunteer Genevieve has introduced him to wand playtime and he looks like he got the hang of it! We love his sweet adorable slightly sad looking face. Come meet Nelsen and all of his new friends Saturday !

We ❤️ Alumni Updates!
ZEST is now OZZIE, named after Ozzie Osbourne…Mom said it was easier to remember Ozzie than the name Zest…He has settled in quite nicely. He is eating and drinking very well, perhaps has gained a little since his adoption…It took about a
month and a half to settle into the household and get comfortable with his calico cat sibling Reba and his two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel siblings Bailey and Sweepy…He is very interactive and playful with family but still dodgy around
strangers…He is not mean or aggressive to new people…He just leaves the room if they are there…He doesn’t like having his photo taken…Mom says that Ozzie is anabsolute delight, and they are very happy that he is part of their family.

Sunday Volunteer Post of the Week written by Steph!

"Manny came to us and he was in rough shape. He’s recovered very well and as he has settled in, his personality has really started to show. Manny has the personality of a “rags to riches” character from a movie. You’d never know that he came to us looking like he went a few rounds with Mike Tyson and a mule. He’s not the type of guy to talk about his past. He’s very much a guy who is grateful for what he has now and knows it’s only gonna get better from here. He’s a very sweet boy who loves everything about people. He is very friendly and every time we give him a treat or a Churu he looks at us like “this is for ME?! 🥺”

If you’re looking for a kitty with a super round head who gives the best noggin boops, look no further. Manny is your guy. He might take a little while to warm up to you but once he does, you can’t help but feel the gratitude just radiating off him. He’s a low maintenance fella who’s just happy to be treated with kindness… and a few scritches between his ears."
