Happy Cock-a-Tuesday! Today, we are highlighting Josephine! Aka JoJo
At 12 years young, this energetic Galah Cockatoo is full of life, movement, and chatter. He’s an incredible flyer who truly thrives in large spaces, and would do best in a home that can offer a flight aviary or very large cage. In his previous home, having the freedom to move and fly helped significantly with his energy levels and frustration—and we’d love to see him have that same opportunity again.

🤍DNA-tested and confirmed male, this boy is loyal, funny, and full of character. He loves flying onto shoulders, launching himself across the room, and hopping from place to place with purpose. He’s known to babble endlessly—it’s one of his favorite things to do—and he absolutely tears through toys, especially chewable, and he also loves puzzle toys that keep his clever mind busy.

While he has a playful, social side, he can also be a little timid around certain objects—a reminder of his sensitivity and the importance of gentle, positive interactions. Once he bonds with someone, he bonds hard, often forming a strong attachment to his person. Sometimes, this loyalty can turn into territorial behavior, but with patience and consistent training, it’s something that can absolutely be worked through.
