Let’s Spread Some Positivity! 💛

There’s a lot of negativity floating around these days, so we thought we’d change things up a bit and **spread some positivity!** ✨

We all have those businesses that go above and beyond. The ones that make you say, *“Wow, THAT’S what great customer service looks like!”*

So let’s give them a little love! ❤️

**Drop a shout-out in the comments to a local business that has given you fantastic service.** Tell us who they are and what made your experience so great.

Let’s fill the comments with some well-deserved recognition for the people who are doing things right! 🙌🐾

**Kind words cost nothing, but they can mean everything to a small business.** 💕

**Why Pet Sitters Should Network 🤝🐾**

When I was invited to join the **Capital Area Professional Pet Sitters Network**, I JUMPED at the chance. And honestly? I wish more pet sitters would see networking as an opportunity instead of competition.

I’ve invited dozens of sitters to join, and some react like I’m trying to steal their children! 😂 But here’s the thing: **there is plenty of business to go around.**

I get LOTS of requests outside my service area. Rather than turning those clients away or sending them to a stranger, I can confidently refer them to someone I’ve actually met and trust.

And the best part? **Last year, 14% of my business came directly from networking.**

Networking isn’t about giving away your clients. It’s about building relationships with other professionals who can **send business your way, cover for you when life happens, and become a trusted resource for your clients.**

So if you’re a pet sitter sitting on the networking sidelines, I’d encourage you to jump in.

**Your next great client, or your next great business connection, might be sitting in that room.** 🐾❤️

Some days you never know what you will see while pet sitting!

I was visiting two orange kitties when I spotted a bird's nest on their porch. At first glance, it looked pretty normal, but then I noticed the lining.

It was made out of orange cat fur!!! 🐈 🐱

How cool is that?!?!?! The things you see while pet sitting!
