We Love Big Mutts Grooming We branched off from Pace's Grooming when they transitioned to a new owner. We decided our place was at Cabin Critters Rescue, to help where we could there.

We specialize in larger dogs because we know that others groomers have either refused to groom them or have purposely overpriced them. We are very excited to start this journey and look forward to meeting everyone along the way! We are by appointment only. We do offer some weekends and evenings, as well as daytime hours. If you have any questions about booking feel free to message us. We try to be very prompt in answering.

How cute are these babies! PeeJ came in today and he's quite possibly the sweetest boy! He was so good for everything! Then we had this trip come in and there's never a dull moment with them. 😂 They're the funniest and sweetest boys ever! Leo, Rugar and their brother Toby underneath. 😂 This pic entirely too long to get but OMG were they cute! I may have the best job ever to get to hang out with all these bonafide good boys all day! ❤️

From shaggy puppy to sophisticated teenager. Look at this glow up! Archie is the sweetest boy! I had the pleasure to teach him what grooming was about today. He was nervous, but once he got used to the noises and feelings that come with grooming, he did great!

Everything is brand new to first groom dogs. The sounds, the smells, the people are a few things they have to get used to. This can take some puppies longer than others, and that's ok! I take my time with puppies. I feel like it's my job to teach them that grooming is ok and they don't have to be afraid of anything that happens there. Is he perfect? No. Was he comfortable throughout the groom? Yes! I try to tell clients that it might be 3-5 grooms before we see the flawless looking grooms from puppies. And that's just because they're learning everything new. This guy did an amazing job today and was a perfect gentleman for almost his entire groom. He, and I, took everything in stride and he turned out absolutely handsome!

This beautiful boy, Simba, came in for a bath and brush out. He was an amazing boy! Very sweet and super cuddly! He absolutely loved the blow-dryer. Lol. Then sage came in and got some color added. We had so much fun with these guys, and gals, today! Oh my goodness! First we had Mako and Atlas come see us for their shorter warmer weather haircuts. How cute are they!?!? Or should I say handsome? Then we got to do a first groom for one of the sweetest and cutest little Yorkie girls, Mollie. She was adorable and had some of the best cuddles in town. ❤️ Then, not pictured 😥, we got to do little Coco. She was the sweetest little mini Aussies we've had the pleasure of meeting! Sadly, due to recent increase in no call no shows we will have to implement a policy. If you no call no show and wish to rebook, you'll need to pay half of the grooming fee at the time of the booking. This deposit will be put towards your groom but will also be non refundable if you no show no call again. 😢 As a small business, it's not possible to always fill your spots as quickly as needed when you do not show up or give notice. We are as accommodating as possible and are understanding that things happen sometimes but we also are working to support our families and your business is important to us.

A few cuties of the week. Miss Nellie came in for her first groom! We loved being able to show her that grooming can be fun and she doesn't have to be scared of anything there! She was an absolute doll baby the whole time and totally stole everyone's hearts! Shadow came in to get his shorter summer haircut. He was an absolute gentleman for the whole groom and absolutely gave some of the best snuggles and cuddles around. Then there was Harley and Fatboy. They were so full of character and so sweet! They even got to hang out for a bit and snuggle with us on the couch. Chloe came in to see us as well. She's an absolute sweetheart! We also got the privilege of getting to give miss Daisy her first groom. She's just a baby puppy so we don't strive for perfection but she did amazing for a first time groom! She is also one of the sweetest babies we had this week! These guys are all absolutely perfect babies and we loved getting to see them and to get to visit them while they were there. Sometimes you just need a good nap while your brothers get finished with their grooms. Huck took full advantage of the seating arrangements. Lol. Meanwhile his brothers Max, Moby and Louie got dappered up for the nicer weather. These guys were so much fun and absolutely the sweetest babies!
