IF you are in the search of a GREAT loving dog and companion this is the breed for you. Not only do these dogs hunt but they will love you all day long. My husband started hunting with his dad as a young kid. In 2002 he got his first Britt and the love for them grew. I grew up with a lab and a weimaraner but neither one hunted. any breed, i was in love!! Since then we have grown to having another male and female. We started to breed our dogs to share our love of the breed. We currently have 4 males (2 are the pups from our litter) and 1 female. We are avid hunters and anything out doors. We dove hunt, but mostly pheasant. Our dogs not only point, they flush and retrieve. We have been working with one of our younger dogs on water retrieving to try duck hunting with him. Most people don't know a lot about what this breed can do, from our experience they can do it all!
