Meet Marley! This special girl loves snuggles just as much as she loves playtime. She has had many inquiries but nobody wants to commit!
When Marley was a puppy we noticed something was different about her. We took her to the vet and a specialist in St. Louis and it was determined that Marley is deaf and has limited vision, but no other heath concerns. While a person may feel upset about this diagnosis, Marley has never let it stop her. She plays and acts just like a puppy should, with the exception being that she doesn’t realize just how loud her bark is!
Marley is crate trained and doing great on her house training but would prefer a person who works from home or is home a lot to help her feel more comfortable. She loves other dogs and cats, and another pet in the family would likely help her to learn routines and settle in faster.
Marley would be a great adventure buddy too! Her lack of hearing actually makes her very bold and brave to try new things! She loves swimming and water and knows to keep close to you to stay safe.
While we know that Marley can’t hear us, she has an adorable habit of leaning her head against your chest when you hold her and talk to her. We think she can feel the vibrations against your chest and she seems to really enjoy the calmness of just being held and talked to.
Marley does have a small list of requirements but if you know anyone who may have space in their heart for this precious pup, don’t hesitate to reach out.
