As the co-founder of Lap of Love, a nationwide network providing in-home hospice and euthanasia services, Dr. Gardner has dedicated her career to ensuring pets receive compassionate care during their final stages of life. Her experience and commitment to honoring the human-animal bond led to the establishment of Monarch Pet Memorial Services, where she continues to advocate for respectful and personalized pet aftercare. ​ She is an international speaker on geriatrics, hospice and end of life care.
