Our Barn Hunt schedule kicks off in November! Whether your dog is a seasoned ratter or you’re looking to try something new, we’re excited to get back to the hunt.

🥏 INTRODUCING WPB K9 FRISBEE CLUB!
We’re excited to bring Toss & Fetch to our dog sport community! Get ready for flying discs, happy dogs, new skills, & a whole lot of fun. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or already have a disc loving dog, we’d love to have you join us!

Our goal has always been to create more opportunities for dogs & their handlers to get involved in dog sports, learn something new, & find their community.

Adolescence has a way of exposing the holes in your training.

Your dog didn’t suddenly become a different dog overnight. The world got more exciting, distractions got harder to ignore & the foundation you built is being put to the test.

This is where you stop expecting your dog to perform like he does in your living room & start teaching him how to succeed in the real world.

Go back to the basics when needed. Adjust your expectations. Be consistent. Build engagement. Proof your obedience around distractions.

Adolescence isn’t the time to throw away everything you’ve taught your dog. It’s the time to put in the work that makes it stick.

Your dog isn’t giving you a hard time. This is the stage where your training gets put to the test.

There’s a big difference between being able to control your dog & having a dog that simply understands how to walk with you, especially when your dog is a 100+ lb Cane Corso.

Loose leash walking matters because when you’ve got a toddler, a bike, & a giant dog beside you, you don’t want to be fighting the leash the entire time.

Good obedience should make everyday life easier.

Confidence doesn’t come from keeping a dog away from the things that make them nervous. It comes from thoughtfully exposing them to the world, building trust, and teaching them that they can handle it.

Same dog. Different confidence.

That’s the progress we’re after.

A big dog shouldn’t require a big person to handle them.

With the right training, kids can learn how to communicate clearly, build trust & confidently navigate the world alongside their dogs.

That’s the kind of real life obedience we want to create. A dog who understands, a kid who feels confident & a relationship built on trust.

We need to stop acting like it’s normal for French Bulldogs to be unable to breathe, exercise, or participate in normal dog activities.

This girl is fit, functional, can breathe, has drive, & absolutely LOVES having a job.

Being a Frenchie doesn’t mean she has to spend her life on the couch. Breed appropriate enrichment, conditioning, & opportunities to use natural behaviors matter.

Cute is great. Functional is better.

Training isn’t just about teaching commands or fixing unwanted behaviors. It’s about building communication, confidence, reliability, and trust between a dog and their person.

When we get to work with a dog from puppyhood through their training journey, we get to see that foundation grow into something real.

The goal was never just a “well trained dog.”
It was a dog who is confident, capable, and ready to navigate life with their family. 🤍

Watching them reach that point is why we do what we do.

Meet Ted. 👋 At just 5 months old, we’re introducing him to the slatmill as part of his foundation work.

No, we’re not trying to tire him out. And no, this isn’t about “making him tired so he behaves.”

It’s about introducing a new outlet, teaching him how to engage with equipment, and building confidence through controlled, age appropriate work.

Working breeds need outlets. Puppies need foundations. Ted is getting both.
