You will also see lost and found animal posts on this page to help reunite those animals with their families. Posts on this page should focus on efforts to save animals; not opinions on shelter management or other negative posts.

How it started ➡️ how it's going

Sarah, Mary, and Winifred were dropped off at an animal control facility in a big bucket. We responded to a rescue request from the crowded shelter and brought the puppies to Peggy Adams for medical care and adoption.

That's where you come in! 🐶🐶🐶

Sarah, Mary, and Winifred are now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet their future families! 🏠

Visit them today at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League!

We're open 11-6 daily, no appointment needed.

'Oops' Litter? Make it their LAST litter! 🤰

Like so many puppies entering shelters, these girls were probably an 'accidental' litter. If you have unsterilized pets and a litter of puppies or kittens that you can't keep, we're here to help!

Through our Last Litter Program, we will take in the puppies/kittens and provide all the care they need before adoption AND spay/neuter mom & dad before they return home - all for FREE!

📲 Learn more about our spay/neuter services, including the Last Litter Program, at peggyadams.org/services/pet-resources/spay-or-neuter/ (Link in bio)

Belly rubs, please 🧡

Black lab mix Nella is the sweetest pup in the shelter!

Nella's ideal day would include lots of cuddles, belly rubs, and naps.

She is 7 years old and has so much love to give. As a longtime resident, Nella's adoption fee is waived!

Come on in to meet her at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League 📍West Palm Beach, FL

Scratchies???

Diamond has spent 80 days in the shelter.

Diamond is here through no fault of her own - her family's circumstances changed, and they were heartbroken to part with her.

Diamond is...
🐕 3 years old
🐾 Friendly with other dogs - loves shelter playgroups
🎾 A toy enthusiast: especially sqeaky toys, tennis balls, and rope toys
🏠 House-trained
🧸 A big teddy bear - would love to sit on your lap or cuddle on the couch

Does Diamond sound like your girl? 💍

Come on in to meet her!
