Today we celebrate the compassion and generosity that make a difference in the lives of those who need us most.

For our rescue, charity means another cat gets care, another frightened cat gets a safe place to heal, and another abandoned cat gets a second chance. 🏠🐱❤️

Our dedicated volunteers (pictured below) help heal the wounds and hearts of abandoned cats until they can find loving homes. Their time, love, and dedication make our work possible.

There are many ways you can help:

💔 Nobody has chosen Duke in 1,084 days. Not once.💔

For 1,084 days, Duke has watched other cats get adopted and go home.
He watches. He waits. And he gets overlooked. Again. And again. And again.

Duke was just 4 years old when he came to us. He and another kitty, Daisy, were dumped on the streets of Coconut Creek, Florida, after their owner was evicted.
We don't know how long they survived out there. How long Duke searched for food and water. How many hot Florida days he spent trying to find somewhere cool and safe. But somehow, he made it.

And now, at 7 years old, Duke is still waiting for the part of his story that he deserves most: A home. ❤️

Duke is quiet, but he loves people. He's sweet. He's silly. And he has absolutely NO idea how to sleep like a normal cat. 😂 He'll curl himself into the most awkward, ridiculous positions and take the best nap of his life.

He's quirky. He's funny. He's lovable. And he's Duke. 🐾 We don't want him to have to change. We want someone to love him because of all the weird little things that make him who he is.

Duke has spent 1,084 days waiting for someone to see him. 💔 Duke deserves better than what life has given him. A family. And someone who will never make him wonder again if he's wanted.

Please don't let Duke spend another day being overlooked. Share his story.

Update on Gemini 🐾💗

Gemini has settled in beautifully to her wonderful new home! She has plenty of windows where she can bask in the sunshine and happily watch the birds, lizards, and squirrels go by. ☀️🐦🦎🐿️

And best of all, her daddy absolutely adores her. Gemini has found the loving forever home she deserved! 💕

🎉🖤 FINN HAS FOUND HIS FAMILY! 🖤🎉

We have the BEST news to share!

After 1,488 days of waiting, hoping, and wondering when his person would finally find him… Finn has been adopted! 🥹🐾

Andrew and Bonnie saw our post about Finn and knew they wanted to meet this handsome black panther with those gorgeous green eyes. They were so excited to meet him—and, of course, there was just one more approval needed…

Finn had to approve them! 😹 And guess what? It was MUTUAL! ❤️

Finn has officially gone home with Andrew and Bonnie, where he will have time to settle in, decompress, and get comfortable in his new surroundings. Once he’s feeling secure, he’ll slowly be introduced to their two 16-year-old cats.

We couldn't be happier for this sweet boy. After spending nearly four years waiting for someone to see him, Finn finally has what he always deserved: a family, a home, and people who chose him.

Sometimes the hardest part of rescue is watching the cats who are waiting the longest. But stories like Finn's remind us why we never give up.

Happy life, sweet Finn. 🖤💚 May your days of waiting be replaced with years and years of being loved.

See me . . . . 🥺

💔Poor Miriam has been with us for 690 days.💔

690 days of watching people come and go. 690 days of hoping that maybe, just maybe, today would be her day.

Miriam was recued from Clewiston where she wasn't just trying to survive for herself—she was trying to keep her two babies alive, too. They both found loving homes except for her.

She is approximately 5 years old, and she still has so much life ahead of her. So much love to give. She deserves the chance to finally experience what she worked so hard to give her babies—a safe, warm, loving home.

And there's something Miriam does that absolutely breaks our hearts 🥺🥺.

She has a favorite spot in her cat tree. When someone who is looking to adopt walks toward her, Miriam will sit up and stand tall, almost as if she's saying:

“See me . . . . . please see me.” And then they walk right past her. You can see what was once excitement turn to sadness as she slowly settles back down into her spot.

How do you tell her that it isn't because she isn't beautiful enough?
That it isn't because she isn't loving enough?
That it isn't because she doesn't deserve a family?

Because Miriam deserves all of those things. She is so loving, gentle and sweet. She has so much to offer the person who is willing to see her. We can't bear the thought of Miriam spending the rest of her life in a shelter, watching other cats get their happy endings while she waits for someone to notice her. Miriam shouldn't have to keep waiting she deserves so much more.

She has already waited 690 days. She deserves someone who will reach for her and say, “Yes, Miriam. I see you.”

Please share Miriam. Maybe her person is out there. Maybe they just haven't seen her yet. And maybe, just maybe, your share will be the one that finally gets Miriam noticed. 🐾💔

💕🐾 Happy Tails, Tess! 🐾💕

Our gorgeous Tess has gone to her forever home! 🏡🥹❤️

When Tess first came to us from the streets, she was frightened little and cowered in her cage. But we saw a tiny glimmer in her eyes — a desire to trust. ✨

With patience, love, and nurturing, she slowly blossomed into the beautiful, confident girl we knew they could be. 🌸

And now it's Tess's turn to live her happily ever after!

She'll have a wonderful feline friend named Bebe, who was adopted from us a couple of years ago. 🐱❤️ Knowing she's joining another rescue kitty makes this adoption even sweeter!

From scared and cowering to loved and HOME. 🏡💕

That's the magic of rescue.

🐾💕 Hi everyone, it’s me, Taj, again! 🥹

I’m still waiting for my forever home. Can you believe it? I’m 2 years old! ✌️ (See? I’m holding up my two toes! 😹)

I’m a really, really good boy, but I have to tell you something… I’m not always a fan of having all these other kitties around me. They keep taking MY seat! 😾 And when that happens, I just give them a little bop on the head to remind them whose seat it is. Hehehe! 😹

Sometimes I run up on the other cats like I’m going to start something and then… SLAM ON THE BRAKES! 🛑😹
Psych!!! I just like to keep everybody guessing!

I do whatever I can to forget about my past, because before I came here, I was living life on the streets. 💔 I’ve come a long way, and now what I really, really want is a home where I can feel safe, loved, and special. ❤️

Maybe that home could be yours? 🥺
