It was such a wonderful wintery day on the farm ❄️

Temps were finally out of the single digits today, so it made for a much nicer day for turnout. I think we’re all ready for spring at this point🌷

Due to the weather we’re having today, horses are inside. With that comes turn out in indoor arena!
We are so thankful to have a heated barn and arena so horses and staff can stay comfortable in these bitter temps.
We are very grateful to our staff who come to work no matter the weather or road conditions. Thank you for your continued dedication to care for our horses and the facility ❤️

Sunrises in the early morning hours in winter are always the best 🤩🌅

We are so thankful to our dedicated staff who show up every morning and provide amazing care to our horses! They work so hard everyday so our boarders can rest easy knowing their horses are getting the best care.

The past few days have been beautiful around the farm! Fall is one of our favorite seasons 🍂

We are so grateful for all of the wonderful staff, boarders, and horses we get to hang out with!

We’ve been utilizing water misters in the pastures for the first time this year during the hot days of summer. Safe to say the horses like standing near them to cool off ☀️ Some also enjoy getting hosed off occasionally during the day

It was a beautiful day at Sandy Hill! The sun was shining and the horses were out all day enjoying it ❤️

Suzanne Galdun (Positively Dressage) stopped by Sandy Hill this evening to help riders improve body position while in the saddle. Whether that be leg position, hand grip on the reins, pelvic position or even core engagement, Suzanne is able to pin point trouble areas to help riders better engage with their horse. It’s always a treat having her stop by and share her knowledge and experience with everyone 🐴😄

Symposium w Dr Jenny Susser: "Harnessing Your Brain Power for Confidence & Performance" Sat & Sun, March 29 & 30 at Sandy Hill Farm in West Olive, MI

From an attendee at a previous Dr Jenny event:
"I am having a difficult time putting into words what this two day symposium has meant to me and to the other women who attended. It was not like any clinic or symposium I have attended to date. I could write pages about the experience over this weekend...check it out, it just may change your world!"

Rare opportunity to work with Dr Jenny Susser, a gifted, dynamic sport psychologist who helps top athletes of all sports and leaders around the world, as well as riders – ammies & pros - who want to feel confident and safe on their horse, and/or improve their show performance and progress.

As Team Sport Psychologist for the 2012 Olympic Dressage Team and a rider herself, Dr Jenny understands the complexities that riders face. All Disciplines Welcome!

If you are ready to:
~ OVERCOME A SERIOUS CHALLENGE
~ CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR IN PRODUCTIVE WAYS
~ ACHIEVE YOUR MOST AMBITIOUS GOALS
This Symposium is for you!

Format: This event is highly interactive for riders and auditors. Both days begin with a lecture about how our brains work; Dr Jenny will teach proven methods on how we can develop confidence, deal with fear and anxiety, improve focus, handle show nerves, and improve overall performance.

6 individual 45 min lessons follow the lecture, with breaks after every two riders so Dr Jenny can interact with and answer questions from auditors. Lunch is included in auditing fee. Each day ends with a Q & A session. This event will be very engaging & interactive for auditors!

The exercise walker was starting to get too filthy; too many horses pooping and walking through it again and again, grinding it into the bricks. It was time to tidy it up!
I’m about half way around the circle, I’ll be back at it tomorrow afternoon. 😎
