Stelly is status quo today, no extra bruising or blood in any of her excrement.
She showed signs of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis over the weekend which I treated, but never strayed from her norm. I did her summer cut Sunday, and saw the petechial bruising on her stomach and my heart SUNK.
Her next CBC is Friday so if we could keep praying for a good turn around that would be so appreciated!
I thank god that I have the knowledge I have and caught this quick because IMTP and IMHA can be deadly quickly. Both make the body attack parts of or the whole red blood cell. Luckily Stella has IMTP which if caught early enough can be very treatable without transfusion or Internal Medicine intervention, though we are ready to go to Akron at a seconds notice if needed for both.
I am so thankful for our medical team at GVC who listened and didn’t think I was insane when I told them what I thought she had, they were short staffed, but got us right in.
We have so much love for this beautiful soul. She is as perfect as they come and her legacy here is unmatched.
