Ever have a dog that only picks you. I have had one before her name was Bindy, she is the reason I have Aussies 11 years later. She always chose me she always made me feel seen and loved. Then she passed away, way too soon. Then this little brat was born she came out of her mama and I was smitten. She had an attitude from the get, being the smallest, but never a day where I had worry about her. Then the weeks go by and she always just wanted me. Even when puppy pick visits came along, she would either hide behind me, or immediately leave a visitors lap I placed her in to find mine. After 5 maybe 6 visits I was like well okay then😅 I guess this puppy is undoubtably picking me. Nami is not everyone’s cup of tea and even more then Bindy, picks her mom and that’s really it, she barely tolerates other humans and is pretty particular about sharing me too🤭 now I’m not saying that’s a good thing but it’s not a bad thing she is not aggressive she just tells us how she feels! From the beginning that has been “I feel like this is my mom” and that’s all. 🤷🏼‍♀️
If you are ever lucky enough to be a dogs only, cherish it with your whole heart, it is one of the best things that god has given us. Undeniable, no questions asked, dedication and love.
Bindy used to be on or around my shoulders at all times, you can find Nami in the same place or on my leg like this. I truly think she sent her. 🥹😇
