HUNTER, NOW ROCKY
2 YEAR ADOPTION UPDATE!
Two years ago today, Hunter found his forever home and became Rocky!
And according to his family, he’s been a pain in the butt ever since! But we all know that’s just another way of saying he’s made himself right at home!
Happy Gotcha Day, Rocky! Thank you to your family for giving you two years of love, laughter, and probably a whole lot of patience! 😂❤️

THIS IS WHAT WE DO!
Take a look at these pictures. Shasta is almost unrecognizable from the condition she was in when she was found. She was literally within days of death. Her body was covered in severe skin irritation and hair loss, and she was in desperate need of help.
But someone cared enough to get her to safety, and we got to work.
This is what animal control is about. It’s not always easy, it’s not always pretty, and it certainly isn’t always appreciated. But when a dog comes to us with little hope left, we do everything we can to give them a chance at life.
And, we could NOT do what we do without Helping Hands for Animals. They cover our shelter dogs’ veterinary bills, making it possible for us to get these dogs the medical care they desperately need. We are forever grateful for their support and for standing beside us when these animals have nowhere else to turn.
Shasta deserved a chance, and we are so thankful she got one. Her journey is a reminder of why we keep showing up, even on the hardest days.
This is what we do. This is why we do it. And we couldn’t do it alone.
Please help us thank Helping Hands for Animals for everything they do for the dogs of Morgan County!
PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A MONETARY DONATION TO HELPING HANDS FOR ANIMALS. Every dollar helps them continue covering veterinary expenses and giving dogs like Shasta a second chance at life. They are a vital part of what we do, and with your support, they can continue helping us save the lives of animals who desperately need it.
Together, we can make a difference, one life at a time. ❤️
