It’s been a busy couple weeks. First trip out to Nebraska for the national championships was a big success.

Judd took the M3 class and 11th overall.
Wes won the limited wranglers
Case was third in a tough M1 class
Trey had an off weekend but stand by for some more news from this weekend
JD won the M6 class and the OVERALL title!

We saw some other fantastic runs with some of the coaching we have been doing. It’s fun to see others successes too.

Case’s first stage for the state shoot. Judd and I both checked his cinch. The off side latigo broke. Check your gear. Case is good now. He had a nice run going.

Huge shoutout to Thomas Hansen and Kory Jones, your kids were out there to check on him about the time he hit the ground. They beat us all, they were fast.

Quick California clinic trip. Thanks Cammie for setting everything up and Ken and Patti for the hospitality and the food. The California Desperados are a fun group of shooters.

Case was on fire yesterday. Right out of the gate he shot clean on 2 out of 3 on the winter series shoots, won the rookie buckle and he won the 3D average buckle!

We made sure as a wrangler/buckaroo he was riding to his balloons and was executing the right form and timing on his shots. We didn’t just go out there to try to win a buckle, we were building good habits. This is where it pays off right here.

Shoutout to Danny Urness for his men’s overall win at the winter championships in Arizona!

This is a good reminder to never stop learning and realize that one way of doing things or one way of thinking isn’t always the right way. Learn from everyone you can and then take the best of each of those so you can be your best.

We have been working with Danny in person and virtually over the last couple months just making slight changes in different parts of his runs. Up to this point he has had some really good coaching and instruction from several talented people. All of that dedication came together a few weeks ago and he walked away with a very coveted buckle. Nice work!
