🌡️ On very hot days we keep outdoor time short and bring the fun inside for the remainder of the visit
💧 Fresh water before and after every walk — always
🐾 Hot pavement burns paws — if it's too hot for your hand it's too hot for their feet
🌳 Shady routes over sunny ones when temps climb

While you're enjoying BBQs and time with family this holiday weekend, we're here to make sure your furry family members are well cared for.
A few holiday safety reminders:
• Keep BBQ foods away from pets (onions, grilled bones, and fatty foods can be dangerous)
• Provide a quiet space if your dog is anxious about fireworks or crowds
• Make sure they have plenty of water in the heat

🌞 Summer Safety Reminder: Keep Your Pets Hydrated!
As temperatures rise, make sure your dog has access to fresh, cool water throughout the day - especially before and after walks. Dogs can't cool themselves as efficiently as we do, so hydration is critical during hot weather.
Signs of dehydration to watch for:

Excessive panting
Dry nose and gums
Lethargy
Loss of appetite

Our walkers always check water bowls and refill them during visits. Your pet's safety and comfort are our top priority!
