Look at stunning Cahoots!!!! Poor girl needs a family!
CAHOOTS IS PUBLICLY AVAILABLE
She is what we call an Oyster brindle princess. A luxury pittie mix! Oyster brindle is a real coloring, most commonly seen in Afghan Hounds… and somehow this rare, beautiful girl continues to be completely overlooked.
Cahoots is estimated to be 2–4 years old, about 50 pounds, and a female with a coat that should stop people in their tracks. But no one stops. No one asks about her.
And if you look closely…really look, you’ll see it.
There is a sadness in her eyes.
Not fear. Not aggression. Just a quiet, aching sadness. The kind that tells a story without words. The kind that makes you wonder who she used to belong to… who she used to greet at the door… who she used to curl up beside at night.
Her eyes tell us she loved someone once.
And somehow, she was left behind.
Yet even with that heartbreak, when she sees someone she knows, her whole body trembles with joy. Pure, overwhelming happiness. (a bit of nervous energy too). As if love still lives inside her, just waiting for a reason to burst out again. She celebrates people , even now. Even after everything. (see video in comments and how sweet she is meeting someone for the first time).
She is medium energy, affectionate, and has shown no negative reactions toward other dogs at the pound. She is not causing problems. She is not demanding attention. She is simply waiting… hoping the next set of footsteps will stop at her door.
It is almost unbearable that a dog this beautiful, hopeful, and devoted, can be invisible.
Cahoots doesn’t need perfection. She just needs someone who won’t leave her behind again.
Please look into her eyes. See the story there. And then be the one who gives her a new ending. 🐾💔
Cahoots is waiting at 200 Municipal Dr., Waterbury, CT
Cahoots will need to be spayed upon adoption, and it comes with a voucher.
