Meet Levi, Owen, Austin, and Roscoe, four adorable Cattle Dog mix brothers who have been with us at Greenmore since August 1st. Born on May 19th, these boys are now nearly 6 months old, and we are baffled as to why they are still waiting for their forever homes!

Our puppy room volunteers absolutely adore them. They are famously the easiest pups to harness and walk, incredibly affectionate, and do fantastic at events with other dogs, people, and even small kids. They are the total package!

When these boys arrived in August, we expected them to be adopted quickly. Because they've been with us for almost three months, we are now facing upcoming neuter surgery expenses we originally did not anticipate needing to cover. The cost is $150 per pup ($600 total).

Caring for growing puppies over an extended stay is a massive undertaking (costing $15 per day, per pup!), and these wonderful boys need our community's help to get them to their neuter surgeries and eventual homes.

This $5 Friday, we’re asking our community to help us cover their ongoing care and upcoming medical needs. A $5 donation goes straight toward their daily meals or their November neuter costs.

Will you give $5 to show Levi, Owen, Austin, and Roscoe that their perfect family is still out there?

Meet Ruby! ❤️

Born on August 21, 2025, Ruby is a happy, medium-energy pup who is always ready to brighten your day. She came to Greenmore full of confidence and has continued to show what a wonderful companion she is.

Ruby would do best in a home with a fenced yard, where she can spend time doing one of her favorite things, sniffing and exploring. She enjoys taking in all the sights and smells, making outdoor time one of the best parts of her day.

She is great with kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful fit for many families. Ruby also walks well on a leash, so she is just as happy joining you for neighborhood strolls as she is exploring her own backyard.

If you are looking for a cheerful, confident, and loving dog to share your adventures, Ruby is ready to meet you!

🐾 ONE WHOLE YEAR OF DAKOTA! 💔

One year ago, Dakota was saved from an overcrowded shelter in West Virginia, where she had found herself on death row, her life hanging in the balance. 💔 Thankfully, she got her second chance with us! But one year later, this goofy, sweet girl is still waiting for the one thing she deserves most: a family to call her own.

At 5 years old (turning 6 in November 🎂), Dakota is an absolute goofball with a heart as big as her silly personality. She’s sweet, playful, and fiercely loyal to her people. Her favorite things? Squeaky balls, giving kisses, keeping an eye on those pesky squirrels, and spending time with the humans she loves!

Dakota can be selective about her dog friends, but that doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy a walk with a canine buddy! Just ask her friends Waffles & Hope. 🐶💕 She simply needs the right match and a little understanding.

🏡 Dakota’s dream home? A securely fenced yard where she can put that clever brain to work! She dreams of sniffing every inch of her kingdom, chasing squirrels out of her territory, and squeaking her favorite toys to her heart’s content. She needs a family who understands her needs, appreciates her personality, and will give her the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for.

It’s been a whole YEAR of waiting. One year since she was given a second chance. One year of showing us what a silly, loving, wonderful dog she is. And one year of hoping that somewhere out there, HER person is looking for HER. 💔💚

She’s survived the unthinkable. She’s been given a second chance. Now, all she needs is someone to give her a FOREVER.

If you watched until the end, we hope you enjoyed our silly little squirrel making a surprise appearance. 🐿️😂 We promise the bloopers are just as good as the main event around here!

Meet Tiger Lily, a sweet momma who was recently found dumped on a street in West Virginia alongside her seven tiny puppies, who are just about 6 weeks old. They were left right out in the open, exposed and vulnerable, until help finally arrived.

When they came to Greenmore, we discovered they were all positive for coccidia. Coccidia is a contagious intestinal parasite that causes severe discomfort and diarrhea, especially dangerous for young puppies. We immediately started the whole family on the medical treatments they need to heal.

Raising a momma dog and seven puppies through parasite treatment and their critical developmental stage is a massive undertaking. Between Tiger Lily’s $250 spay, vaccines ($25 per dog for mom and all 7 pups), and the daily care of $15 per day per puppy over a 30 to 45-day stay, the total cost of care for this family ranges from $3,600 to over $5,100.

This $5 Friday, we’re asking our community to help us cover these heavy medical and daily care costs. A $5 donation goes straight toward medication, vaccines, or meals for this little family.

Will you give $5 to help Tiger Lily and her puppies recover and thrive?
