✨Staff week ✨

This week is all about the people who keep the show running, day in and day out doing every task imaginable as a (mostly) cohesive family. Our staff are the heart of our clinic and we treasure them greatly!

So far this week there’s been.. ducks.. lots of ducks, coffee, wacky socks, animal print, games, and JOY. There’s more to come but here’s a peek behind the scenes ❤️🐾

🎆 Fireworks can be fun for us, but scary for our dogs. 🐾

If your pup gets anxious during fireworks, call us to discuss whether trazodone may help keep them calm and comfortable.

A little preparation can make a big difference for a stress-free holiday! ❤️🐶

🎉Reintroducing, DOCTOR Gracie🎉

Today is officially Dr. Gracie’s second first day at Smithers Animal Hospital! Some of you may remember her from when she worked with us as a technician in undergraduate school in 2020-2022, before she left to continue her journey at Mizzou College of Veterinary Medicine.
In the four years since Gracie left, she worked at the Mizzou Equine ICU and discovered a love of equine and small animal medicine, got married, and of course graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine!

Welcome back Dr. G, we are proud of you and cannot wait to see what the future holds! 🐾🐾

PS- we’re pretty sure Boone gets an honorary degree after sitting through 4 years of study sessions 😉🎓
