Adventure days can help your dog:

🐾 MORE ADVENTURE DAY DETAILS! 🏔️🐶

We know everyone is extremely excited for our new Adventure Days — and trust us, so are we! 🤩 We wanted to share a few more details so everyone knows exactly what to expect!

🌲 Here’s the plan for Adventure Days:

🐾 Drop-Off: Anytime between 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
🐾 Transportation: We will be leaving for our adventure at 9:15 AM
🐾 Pick-Up: Anytime between 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

🚐 Transportation & Safety:
Your dog will travel in their own kennel inside a temperature-controlled vehicle to ensure they are comfortable and safe throughout the day.

🥜 Allergies:
Please let us know ahead of time if your dog has any allergies or dietary restrictions!

🦴 What’s Provided:
We will provide treats, chews, water, and leashes for the day.

🎓 Training Tools:
Please send any training tools your dog currently uses. This may include:
• Prong collar
• E-collar
• Harness
• Muzzle
• Any other tools your dog regularly uses

🥾 Adventure Locations:
The hiking location will change for each Adventure Day! We will be exploring different spots, so there will not be one set location for these adventures.

🏷️ Identification:
Please make sure your dog comes with an identification collar or ID tag.

💰 COST:
Adventure Days will be $70 total per dog for the day.

A $20 non-refundable deposit per dog will be required to reserve your spot. The remaining balance will be due according to our normal payment process.

🌦️ WEATHER:
If weather conditions do not permit us to safely hold an Adventure Day, we will notify owners within 72 hours of the scheduled Adventure Day.

These won’t be our only Adventure Days! We plan to add more dates in the future as long as the weather cooperates. 🐾☀️🌤️

🚨 HOW TO SIGN UP: 🚨

We will be doing a drop date, and spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis!

📲 The registration link will be posted on Thursday, September 3rd at 8:00 AM.

Once the link is live, you will be able to:
✅ Select the Adventure Day(s) you would like your dog to attend
✅ Register your dog
✅ Pay the $20 non-refundable deposit to secure their spot

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:
Our regular Drop & Trains that would normally be scheduled on those specific dates will not be taking place.

If you would like your dog to attend on one of the Adventure Days, you will need to register specifically for the Adventure Day.

🌲🐾 NEW & EXCLUSIVE FOR OUR TRAINING CLIENTS! 🐾🌲

🌟 ADVENTURE DAYS ARE HERE! 🌟

We are SO excited to introduce Adventure Days, an exclusive new offering for our training clients! 🎉🐶

Drop your dog off before work and pick them up at the end of the day happy, tired, fulfilled, and ready for a good nap after an amazing day outside! ☀️🌲🐾

Adventure Days will be filled with hiking, swimming, exploring, and training while soaking up as much sunshine as we can while it lasts! 💦🏊‍♀️🌿

But these aren’t just fun days—they’re a chance to take everything your dog has learned in training and put those skills to the test in the real world! 🧠🐾

We’ll be working on real-life skills such as:

🐕 Pack walks
📣 Recall
🥾 Trail manners
🐶 Neutrality around other dogs
👋 Neutrality around people
🦌 Neutrality around wildlife
🎯 Focus, engagement, and obedience around real-world distractions

The goal is to help your dog learn that their training doesn’t stop when they leave the training environment. We want those skills to carry over into everyday life, even when the environment is exciting and full of distractions! 💪✨

🐾 ADVENTURE DAY REQUIREMENTS

To keep Adventure Days safe, fun, and enjoyable for everyone, dogs must meet the following requirements:

💉 Vaccinations: Must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella.

🎓 Training Client: Must have completed training or currently be training with Sheyenne River Kennels within the last three years.

🦴 Crate & Car Manners: Must be clean in their crate, comfortable in a crate while riding in the car, and not have potty accidents.

🪲 Flea & Tick Prevention: Must be currently using flea and tick prevention, either oral or topical.

These Adventure Days are EXCLUSIVE to our training clients and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Spots will be limited!

🌧️ Rain or shine, we plan to adventure! The only exception will be severe or unsafe weather.

🐾 Welcome, Hazel! 🐾

We are so excited to welcome Hazel to our Four Week Board & Train Program! 🎉🐶

Hazel has some big goals to work toward during her stay! We’ll be focusing on her reactivity, working through demand barking, and addressing resource guarding. We’ll also be recapping her obedience skills and continuing her e-collar conditioning to help create clear communication and consistency.

Our goal is to help Hazel learn how to make better choices, stay calm around distractions, listen through excitement, and confidently navigate situations that have been challenging for her. 💪✨

Four weeks of structure, consistency, and lots of learning can make a HUGE difference—and we are so excited to watch Hazel’s progress unfold! 📈🐾

We can’t wait to see where these four weeks take her. Let’s get to work, Hazel! ❤️🐶

🐾 Welcome, Gretta! 🐾

Please join us in welcoming Gretta to our Four Week Hybrid Program! 💕 Gretta is a young Giant Schnauzer puppy with a big personality and an even bigger future ahead of her!

While she’s here with us, Gretta will be working on basic obedience, curbing those naughty puppy behaviors, learning how to settle, and teaching her busy puppy brain to relax and make good choices. 🧠✨

Her family has big goals for her when she is older, and we are so excited to get started and be a part of her journey! We can’t wait to help Greta build the skills, confidence, and foundation she needs to grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be. 💕🐶

We can’t wait to watch this girl grow!
