A little schedule change today: I’m staying home to rest a tweaked back, so we won’t be at Park Ridge.But we’ll be in Arlington Heights from 8–12 and can’t wait to see you there. Thanks for the love and flexibility — it means everything.

A little pause this weekend — Mushyface won’t be at tomorrow’s markets.
Our vehicle’s down, I’m nursing a migraine, and the forecast says rain all day.

Keeping our pets safe is always a priority but keeping them safe during severe weather can be challenging.

Illinois keeps breaking tornado records, and while I can’t control the weather, I can control how prepared we are. Every month, my dogs and I run a quick tornado drill — so that when the sirens sound for real, we already know what to do. It’s a simple training scenario that helps us stay ready...

We are in Lake Barrington at Canlan Sports for the UKI 1-TDC Invitational through Sunday afternoon. (We'll be here until at least 6:45 tonight!) If you’re in the neighborhood, come check it out!
