DO YOU BIKE AROUND KENNETT/EAST MARLBOROUGH?

If so, speak with the friends you ride with because someone in the cycling community is ripping down Bodie’s flyers (image attached) and that’s not a great look.

Witnessed today on 82 near the country club, coming out of W Locust Lane was an older male, small frame, wearing glasses. Dark bike and dark helmet. Wearing cycling clothing. Ripped the flyer off the pole, and took off.

Witness said there were cars coming in both directions.

TO BE CLEAR. Bodie is still missing. We, along with recovery teams and other wonderful people volunteering their time, are still actively tracking sightings and making plans for trapping efforts when that time comes.

To answer questions that will inevitably be asked:

NO there is no reason to think that anyone has taken Bodie and is trying to cover it up. He is WELL into survival mode and approaching a dog in that state is extremely unlikely, which is why they are typically trapped.

YES the police have been notified of these incidents.

YES the various townships have been notified and/or spoken with regarding posting and removal of flyers and signs.

YES, we (along with some of those wonderful volunteers already mentioned) are committed to retrieving all of the posted flyers or signs once Bodie is safely home.

For community members who are that bothered by seeing lost pet flyers posted, try being part of the solution and help spread the word so the lost pet can be returned home sooner, and I sincerely hope you never have to suffer through this hell while having some callous individuals work against you.

🐾 Potential sighting 8/15, 4:30 pm going into bamboo on Lenape Unionville Rd between Marlboro Spring Rd and E Doe Run Road

📍Last sighting 7/5, 1:30 pm crossing E Doe Run Rd from school bus lot, through small cemetery, toward Lenape Unionville Rd.

❌ Do not follow, try to catch, or call after if seen. Call or text immediately with location and direction of movement. We’ll take it from there.
