Waffles and Lulu were originally groomed as part of the free grooming services I provide to the Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Shelter in Orleans. When I made a video of Waffles' groom, my goal was simply to show the love, patience, and care that goes into every dog I work with. I never imagined it would have such a meaningful impact.
The wonderful family who adopted Waffles later told me they had seen that video, and it played a role in their decision to adopt him. Even more incredible, they chose to adopt Lulu as well, allowing this bonded brother-and-sister pair to stay together.
Moments like these remind me why I do what I do. I am so grateful for the opportunity to help animals who deserve love, comfort, and a second chance. Knowing that something as simple as sharing their story helped keep these siblings together fills my heart more than words can express. ❤️
