Can we talk about how cute Rocco’s little teeth are?? That smile is precious!🦷💕

Did you know flat-faced (brachycephalic) animals sometimes need help widening their airways?

For Rocco, he had some extra soft tissue in the back of his throat, known as an elongated palate. This can negatively affect his breathing, so he underwent a procedure to fix the issue.

We are happy to report Rocco did great during his surgery and went home to his family the same day. Once he is fully healed, he’ll be breathing much easier—and his loud snoring might even be reduced too!💤🐶

Frankie has been extra hungry lately!! So hungry, in fact, that he helped himself to some spaghetti when no one was looking!🍝

His ravenous appetite prompted a visit with Dr. Picard for specialized blood work to screen for Cushing's disease.
This condition causes excessive cortisol production by the adrenal glands and can lead to increased hunger, thirst, urination, and panting.💧

During his visit, Frankie had three blood draws to measure his cortisol levels.📈 If his levels are abnormally high, medication will be started at home.💊

Frankie is the best boy, and that salt and pepper fur...🤗 so distinguished!🧂
