Please help us welcome Dr. Melissa Bilstein to the West Branch Team! 🎉🎉

Dr. Melissa Bilstein is passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate veterinary care and building lasting relationships with pets and the people who love them. She earned her undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University before attending the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2021.

Dr. Bilstein has special interests in surgery, ultrasound, and rehabilitation and enjoys continuing to expand her knowledge and skills in each of these areas. She also values opportunities to connect and collaborate with fellow veterinary professionals. Outside of veterinary medicine, giving back is important to her, with a particular interest in supporting women’s and children’s shelters.

Originally from Barrington Hills, Illinois, Dr. Bilstein enjoys spending much of her free time outdoors. Her favorite activities include kayaking, hiking, swimming, and horseback riding, along with softball, knitting, and painting.

Dr. Bilstein is excited to bring her experience and interests to West Branch Veterinary Services and looks forward to caring for the pets and families in our community.
