Spring is the time for new life on the farm.
Momma duck has her clutch of Duckings out for a swim, Can you count how many there are ?

It's Duckling time. Three mommas hatched their clutches of baby ducks today.
Also baby geese are growing fast. Puffy Tufted peking ducklings and goslings are available and growing fast.
Emus are hatched and rheas are now laying thier giant golden yellow eggs. We are gifted with Baby 2, 4, 6 horned Jacob lambs , baby goats and chicks. Spring is full of life . Now it's planting time

Also baby geese are growing fast. And some are available . Same with crested peking ducklings. And one baby emu left. Rhea s are laying thier big giant golden yellow eggs.
Life begins on the Farm .

Got to fed the pumpkins corn and other crops..

An overwhelming majority of America’s farmers who responded to a nationwide survey say they cannot afford to purchase enough fertilizer to get them through the year. A survey conducted by the American Farm Bureau Federation shows 70% of respondents say fertilizer is so expensive that they will not be able to buy all the fertilizer they need.

Iowa State University estimates the cost to produce a bushel of corn in 2026 at $4.33. Current cash prices across Iowa average $4.11 per bushel — meaning farmers are losing money on every bushel they grow. For soybeans, the numbers are marginally better, but input costs are up 16–18% since 2022 while crop prices have dropped 38% over the same period. Farmers are being squeezed in both directions simultaneously, and there is no quick fix on the horizon.

This is now the fourth consecutive year of projected losses for corn and soybean growers. Many farmers cover operating costs through short-term loans that must be repaid within 12 months — and in 2026, tighter margins mean many farms have little or nothing left to reinvest after paying back those loans. Agricultural lenders surveyed in 2025 projected that fewer than 50% of U.S. farm borrowers would be profitable in 2026. When the people growing America's food can't pay their bills, everyone downstream eventually feels it.

To assist on Our small Farm Animal Care , Helping to Create our Haunted Cornfield. preparing Maintenance projects as well as other varied tasks on Farm. We are an entertainment Farm complex... big into Halloween... if you're into the scarier side of Halloween is a big plus, you need to be over 15 , good physical shape and care about yourself and your health , physically fit . You do not need to know everything , we don't need a "Know it All person" just willingness to learn. We are Searching for a Helper that wants to build muscle, work outdoors, and love Animals.
