Our mission at Charming Paws is to go above and beyond the traditional pet daycare to ensure that our canine guests have a unique, safe, caring, and loving experience with our staff. In order to achieve this goal, we offer a family-centered environment for your pups to feel right at home in - whether that be for playing during the day or staying overnight. Our daycare offers four separate groups f

or pups to be split into, catering to all kinds of play styles, temperaments and sizes. With inside-outside access, your furry friends are able to run out all their zoomies and enjoy the fresh air whenever they feel like doing so!

Our overnight style is not like the rest. With 4x4 sizes for our smaller breeds and 5x5 sizes for our larger breeds, we are able to keep all pups comfy, cozy and cared for giving them their own home away from home, filling their suite with any belongings you may want to bring along!

At Charming Paws, we find it extremely important to listen to our clients and educate them in order to build a strong and lasting relationship. We value having and maintaining an open, honest, and sincere relationship with our clients. We want to give you all the assurance and confidence that we will care for your loving family pet just as you would at your home.

Our staff is highly trained and experienced, ready to love your pup as one of their own. Charming Paws is your extended family facility to care for your pup when you need to rely on someone you can trust.

🎒🍎 Back to school season is officially here!

Some of our Charming Paws families have already been back in the swing of things for a few weeks, while today is the big first day for many of our local schools, including some of our own kiddos. ❤️

Whether you’re sending your little one off to school, watching your big kid walk through those doors another year older, or your pup is your child and you’re feeling all the emotions right along with the rest of us, this time of year can feel a little bittersweet.

New teachers, new classrooms, new routines and another reminder of just how quickly time goes.

Wishing all of our students, teachers, staff and families a wonderful school year ahead. 📚✏️❤️

🐾 Our 2026 Harvest Howler Beneficiary is Jack’s Playground!🐾

Choosing a beneficiary this year was incredibly difficult because so many amazing organizations were submitted, all making a true difference for animals in our communities.

We knew we couldn’t choose based on whose mission was making the biggest impact because the answer was simple: they ALL are. ❤️

We also didn’t want to choose based on the number of nominations. Sometimes newer or smaller rescues may have fewer followers, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t making a HUGE impact. So, we chose to honor them all and left this year’s beneficiary up to luck with a random draw!

We’re so excited to announce that Jack’s Playground Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation was selected! 🌈🐾

Jack’s Playground is a foster based rescue in Southern Wisconsin specializing in neonatal and disabled animals. We’re excited for the opportunity to support the tiny, vulnerable pups and animals who need rehabilitation, extra care and a chance to thrive.

🍂📚 IT’S OFFICIALLY SEPTEMBER, which means the kids are back in school… and the dogs said “cool, us too.” 😂🐾

Some of our school-year regulars are officially back at CP, and our year-round pups have been holding down the fort waiting for their classmates to return. 🫡

The curriculum at CP Richfield is pretty intense:
Recess. ✏️
More recess. 📚
Lunch.
A little gossip with your besties.
Recess again.
Absolutely ZERO homework. 😂

Honestly, your kids may be upset summer is over, but your dog? Thrilled. They’ve got friends to see and important daycare business to attend to. 😂🐶

Around here, we think every day is Dog Day… but today gives us an extra excuse to celebrate the pups who make our days a whole lot happier. 💛

From the zoomies and slobbery kisses to the wagging tails that greet us every morning, we feel pretty lucky that caring for dogs is what we get to do every single day.

To all of our Charming Paws pups, thank you for trusting us to be part of your world. Whether you visit us for daycare, boarding, grooming, enrichment, or just a stop in the boutique, we love getting to know each of your personalities and all the little things that make you you. 🐶

We do boarding a little differently around here. 🐾

Private suites? Check. ✔️
Enrichment based care? Check. ✔️
Group play for pups who enjoy making friends? Check. ✔️
One on one care for pups who prefer a slower pace? Absolutely. ✔️

At Charming Paws, boarding isn’t designed around how many dogs we can fit into a building. It’s designed around how we can best care for the individual dog in front of us.

Our boarding guests enjoy their own private suite for rest and downtime, with their days built around activity, enrichment, outdoor time, attention, and interaction.

For our social butterflies, that can include supervised play with appropriate friends. For dogs who find group environments overwhelming, private enrichment and one on one time with our care team can provide an equally fulfilling experience.

Some pups come in ready to make friends. Some need a little extra time to settle in. Some would choose a staff member and a good belly rub over a playgroup any day. ❤️

There isn’t one boarding experience that works for every dog, and we don’t believe there should be.

Individual dogs. Individual personalities. Individualized care.

Yesterday we officially wrapped up our 2nd Annual Sprinkler Sprint, and WOW did the pups show up ready to make a splash! 💦🐾 Between the zoomies, sprinkler sneak attacks, dramatic dodging, airborne ears, soaked pups, and a few VERY questionable opinions about getting wet… 😂 we had an absolute blast!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun and let their pups participate! We loved watching each of them take on the sprinklers in their own special way. Some dove right in, some showed off their speed, some were simply there for moral support, and others would like to formally request that the sprinkler never look in their direction again. 🤣

Of course, a competition this serious needed some equally serious awards. 🏆 After reviewing some truly award-worthy performances, these were the titles presented to our winning pups!

When you’re at daycare with your friends and the sun hits just right… ☀️😂🐾

Days like this are one of our favorite parts of being an indoor/outdoor daycare facility.

Our daycare pups aren’t crated throughout the day. Instead, their day is spent moving between our indoor and outdoor play spaces with their groups, giving them plenty of opportunities to play, explore, sniff, socialize and, of course, soak up some sunshine. ☀️

And outside time isn’t always about running full speed!

Some pups wrestle with their besties.
Some get the zoomies.
Some investigate every new smell.
Some find a sunny spot and relax.
And apparently some turn their face toward the sun and dramatically appreciate every second of it. 😂

Having access to both indoor and outdoor spaces lets dogs do more of what dogs naturally love to do throughout their day.

Fresh air, sunshine, friends and the freedom to just be a dog. 🐶💛

Have you ever had the BEST. DAY. EVER?! 🐾🤩

Because this is the face of a pup who is absolutely LOVING LIFE! 😂💕

But that big, happy smile tells us something else, too. This is a pup who is relaxed, comfortable, and feeling good in their play group. 🐶💛

Daycare isn’t for every pup, and that’s okay! Every dog has their own personality, comfort level, and social needs. Our staff is dedicated to getting to know the pups in our care, watching their body language, and making sure they’re comfortable, happy, and enjoying their day.

Because at Charming Paws, a successful day of daycare isn’t just about wearing them out. It’s about creating an environment where they can play, socialize, build confidence, and truly enjoy being a dog. 🐾

And judging by this face… we’d say someone had a pretty pawsome day! 😍🐶
