🐾💛 Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Meet Nikki! 💛🐾

This Veterinary Technician Week, we’re excited to introduce you to Nikki, one of our Certified Veterinary Assistants at Heart & Soul Pet Clinic! 🩺🐶🐱

Nikki has always had a big love for animals, and working in veterinary medicine allows her to turn that passion into helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. One of her favorite parts of the job is getting to know each patient’s unique personality and building that special bond with them (with plenty of pets and cuddles along the way, of course! 🥰).

🐾 A little about Nikki: She’s a proud dog mom to Harley, Rebel, and Riot, and a cat mom to Rogue! Her furry crew keeps life exciting and gives her plenty of animal-filled adventures at home, too. 😂🐶🐱

Nikki is also passionate about companion animal nutrition and hopes to one day become a pet nutritionist! She loves continuing to learn and finding new ways to be an advocate for the animals in her care. 💛

😂 Fun fact: If there’s an animal nearby, you can bet Nikki is talking to it like it understands every word she says!

We’re so happy to have Nikki as part of the Heart & Soul family and are grateful for the compassion, dedication, and love she brings to our patients every day. Help us celebrate Nikki this Vet Tech Week by leaving a 🐾 in the comments! 💛

This Veterinary Technician Week, we’re excited to introduce you to Emma! 🐶🐱

Emma has been part of the Heart & Soul Pet Clinic team since February 2026. She recently completed the veterinary assistant program at MCC and will soon be starting their veterinary technician program! Her goal is to become a Certified Veterinary Technician, and we’re so excited to support her as she continues to grow in the field. 🩺

Veterinary medicine has always been an interest of Emma’s, and she’s loving every minute of learning! 🐾💚 TECH WEEK SPOTLIGHT: DOROTHY, CVT! 💚🐾

This Tech Week, we’re celebrating Dorothy and her passion for caring for animals! 🐶🐱

Dorothy has been working in veterinary medicine for 14 years and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) for 8 of those years. Her love for animals started at a young age, and she has continued to grow that passion throughout her career at Heart & Soul Pet Clinic.

Over the years, Dorothy has been fortunate to work alongside an incredible team, expand her knowledge, and take on new opportunities that have helped shape her career. One of her most exciting adventures has been becoming a co-owner of a pet resort in Jackson! 🏡🐾 She continues to work as a CVT at Heart & Soul while pursuing this new chapter, bringing her dedication to animal care to both roles.

Whether she’s caring for patients at Heart & Soul or helping pets feel comfortable and loved at the pet resort, Dorothy’s goal is always the same: providing animals with the highest standard of care, comfort, and compassion. ❤️

We’re so grateful to have Dorothy as part of our Heart & Soul family and are excited to see all the amazing things she continues to accomplish!

🎂 And to make this week even more special, it’s Dorothy’s birthday week, too! 🥳🎉

🐾💙 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 💙🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the amazing team behind the care at Heart & Soul Pet Clinic! 🐶🐱

One thing that makes our team special is that we all wear a lot of hats! From assisting with appointments and surgeries to running lab work, answering phones, comforting nervous pets, helping clients, cleaning up messes (because pets will be pets! 🐾), and everything in between, our team jumps in wherever we’re needed.

Being a vet tech means so much more than what happens in the exam room. It’s the patience, compassion, teamwork, long days, problem-solving, and all the little things we do to make sure every pet feels safe and loved.

We’re so thankful for a team that works hard, supports one another, and gives so much of themselves to the pets and people who walk through our doors. ❤️

Help us celebrate our incredible team this Veterinary Technician Week! Drop a 🐾 in the comments to show our crew some love!

Thank you to our H&S team for everything you do! 🩺🐾
