Hi family! It’s finally time to introduce our new certified groomer, Malinda! 🐾💜

Malinda has been in the grooming industry since 2015, so she brings over 10 years of experience with her, but more than anything, she is just such a kind and genuine person.

Like the rest of our team, she’s been an animal lover her whole life, and grooming is something she’s genuinely passionate about. There’s always something really special about finding people who fit so naturally into your little corner of the world, and Malinda is just that! She fits Heart & Soul, she fits our values, and most importantly, she fits the way we care for our clients. I’m so excited to watch her start building relationships with her own fur-clients and for all of you to get to know her the way we have!🐾💜

✨With that being said, she’s ready to start filling her books! Malinda will be accepting appointments starting September, and for the entire month of September, we’re doing a welcome discount special on full-service grooms booked with her!✨

September–December Books Are OFFICIALLY OPEN!

This block includes all of our holiday availability, so if you know you’ll be needing a session, now is the perfect time to secure any spots! 🥰
As always, we kindly ask for a little grace while we work through messages💜 We promise we’re not ignoring you! We take pride in personally responding to each one and making sure we’re getting every fur-baby scheduled where they fit best.

‼️I also have TWO big announcements‼️

First… At the end of August we’ll be saying “see you later” to my amazing bather, Kayla.
For the last 3 years, she has been so much more than a bather. She has been my sidekick, my right hand girl, and such a huge part of the Heart & Soul family. So much of what happens here each day is because of her. Some of you may already know she’s been working incredibly hard through college to become a surgical tech. As much as it breaks my heart to see her go, I couldn’t be more proud of her. I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow, and now I get to watch her chase her passion. What a beautiful thing that is! If you have an appointment with us this month, be sure to give her some love and wish her luck! We are all going to miss her so much!💜

Second… I am SO excited to be welcoming another certified groomer to our little family, Malinda!! She has over 10 years of grooming experience and I couldn’t be happier to have her join our team! She’ll officially be starting in September, and I’ll be making a separate post soon so everyone can get to know her!
To celebrate Malinda joining our team, we’ll be offering a limited time “Welcome Special”throughout the month of September for full-service grooms booked with her. We can’t wait for you all to meet her! 🥰

Watching this little dream of mine continue to grow, while holding onto the same mission, has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. When I first opened, all I hoped for was a space where every fur-baby would feel safe, seen, loved, and truly cared for. The fact that so many of you have trusted us year after year, is something I’ll never take for granted.

Daisy’s very first spa day… fast forward just 4 months later. 🥹 They really do grow up so fast.

Looking through these photos made me realize something I don’t let myself think about very often…

This year marks 7 years since I opened Heart&Soul. That means some of the puppies I met in those very first days are now 7 years old!! Others are reaching ages my heart doesn’t even want to admit. (They’ll always be my babies)

Sometimes I get so caught up in the day to day that I forget my fur-clients are growing older right alongside my business. We’ve celebrated birthdays together, welcomed new siblings (both 2-legged and 4-legged), watched little pups become sweet seniors… and somewhere along the way, the years just flew by.

Then there are the “see you laters”… the ones whose last appointment I never knew would be their last. I always say, “The only flaw our animals have is that they simply don’t stay with us long enough”

So every time I meet a new puppy like Daisy, it reminds me just how special this career really is. God willing, I’ll get to watch her grow up too.

To every pup I’ve watched grow, every sweet senior I still get to love on, every angel I’ll never forget, and every new little face that walks through my door… thank you. I will never take a single appointment for granted! 💜

Happy 4th of July, family! ❤️🤍💙

I hope today is spent surrounded by the people you love most, full plates, kids running around with sparklers, and our fur-babies patiently waiting for someone to “accidentally” drop a burger! 😂🐾

If there’s one thing that’s always been part of the American family, it’s dogs. They’ve stood beside us through history, served alongside our military, worked our farms, protected our homes, and became part of our families.
Thank you to all of the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. Because of your sacrifice, we get to spend days like today with the people,and fur-babies we love most!

Don’t forget… while we enjoy the fireworks, our pups don’t always feel the same way, so give them a little extra love tonight!❤️🤍💙🐾

Looking for Fur-ever Homes! 🐾

Hey family! I know we have some of the biggest animal lovers here around, so I wanted to ask for a little help. Whether it’s by sharing this post or maybe even opening your heart and home, I’d love to see if we can help these two sweet fur-babies find their fur-ever families!🥹💜

🐾 Mookie
• Schnauzer mix
• Approximately 37 lbs.
• Very sweet natured
• Would do best in a home with another dog or with people who are home often or love taking their pup along on adventures.

🐾 Fiona
• Shih Tzu mix
• Arriving from Texas on July 10th
• Currently around 7lbs, but she’ll likely put on a little healthy weight once she’s settled into a loving home.
• Sweet disposition
• Gets along great with dogs of all sizes.
