💔 MEET JOURNEY 💔

Sometimes we meet dogs and wonder how in the world anyone could have ever abandoned them.

Journey is one of those dogs. 🥺🐾

Journey is a male Golden Doodle puppy, estimated to be around 7 months old, who was dumped in the Redlands of Miami. He had been living out there for months, trying to survive on his own.

We know very little about his past.
We don’t know who left him.
We don’t know why they left him.
And honestly… we will never understand how someone could dump a dog this sweet.

Because Journey is SO deserving. ❤️

He is incredibly friendly, appreciative, gentle, and has the sweetest, calmest demeanor. You would never believe that this beautiful puppy had been abandoned and left to fend for himself.

But one thing we do know…

Journey deserves the world. 🌎❤️

And 4 Lucky Doodles Pet Rescue is going to do everything we can to give it to him.

And there is a reason behind his name.

We named him JOURNEY because it took 5 incredible volunteer ladies coming together to make his journey to safety possible. 🥹

His journey looked like this:

📍 Redlands → West Palm Beach: 104 miles
📍 West Palm Beach → Ft. Pierce: 67 miles
📍 Ft. Pierce → River Ranch: 12:15 PM – 1:25 PM
📍 River Ranch → Wesley Chapel: 1:40 PM – 3:20 PM / 96 miles

And FINALLY…

🏡 JOURNEY ARRIVED AT 4 LUCKY DOODLES PET RESCUE! 🐾❤️

Now THAT was a JOURNEY. 🥹

Five amazing women gave their time, their gas, their energy, and their hearts to make sure this puppy who had been forgotten was no longer alone.

His journey is just beginning.

Now he needs a groom, veterinary care, vaccines, and to be neutered. He has already been through so much, and we want the next chapter of his life to be completely different.

🙏 PLEASE consider donating toward Journey’s care.

Every $5.
Every $10.
Every $20.
Every share.

It all adds up and helps us give dogs like Journey the second chance they deserve.

He was dumped.

He was forgotten.

But he was NOT abandoned by everyone. ❤️

Welcome to 4 Lucky Doodles Pet Rescue, Journey. 🐾

Your journey brought you here for a reason… and we promise, your best days are still ahead. 🌎❤️

💙 SAILOR 🐾 My favorite rescue Golden Doodle, if you know me you are aware that we frequently have numerous Golden Doodle rescues come into the rescue. But Sailor was a rescue doodle I particularly favored. He came into the rescue in terrible shape. I groomed him, got him healthy, neutered, and Robin and I found the perfect adoptive parents for him. Although I cannot keep them all,. The best part is that I still get to see him, and he returns for boarding and grooming. The hardest part is letting go, but the easiest part is accepting that he is happy, the best rescue stories are the ones like sailors.
Rescue is tough it’s exhausting but it’s happy ever afters like sailors that make me want to keep doing wha I do for the doodles 🤗

Happy Friday.
