My mission is to breed a wide range of Golden Retrievers with top quality standards. All our working dogs are our pets and treated with the best care, quality food, environment, and conditioning. We believe a nurturing home environment is the only way to raise confident, mild tempered, family oriented puppies that live long, healthy, productive lives. Our breeding dogs are chosen based on many fac

tors including their temperment, color, pedigree, market demand, and their ability to pass a series of one or more health clearances

We use testing resources such as OFA, PennHIP, and embark to ensure ALL of our breeding dogs are free of genetic defects related to hips, elbows, and heart. We raise 5-6 litters a year of our own, in addition to a few litters a year from our breeding partners in different territories. Each litter is strictly quarantined and cared for by our family with lots of love and serious sanitation standards. Our puppies go home with AKC registration, health certificate from the vet, first round of shots, and a new puppy kit that includes flea and heartworm preventative. We require a deposit to get on the waiting list and will announce availability via Facebook!

How to verify if a breeder business is real:

1. Google
There will generally be reviews for a credible business that you can verify are not bots. Make sure to check the oldest ones to see how long they’ve been in business

2. Government websites
Florida uses www.sunbiz.org to catalogue every registered business in the state

3. County specific animal control
Breeders should have a breeding license on file with the county that’s current.

4. Verify phone number and address
A simple Google search should bring up basic phone number and address information for most individuals.

5. Social media presence
Live videos, watermarked photos, and working website are all indications that the media you are viewing has not been pirated.

At Bones Retrievers we pride ourself in being a VERIFIED business, with proper licensing, and customer feedback dating back ten years.

We require a surety of action deposit before we allow any visitors in our home. That’s non negotiable. This is for our privacy, and to ensure buyers are committed before we entertain them in our private residence. We offer FaceTime, but will not allow people into our home “because they are skeptic if we are real or not”. Please do a little bit of research before making those type of statements. I won’t expose my privacy any more to “prove” I run a legitimate business when there’s plenty of information available to you.
