🐄 Happy Cow Appreciation Day! 🐄

Today we're celebrating some very special cows from the farm of one of our veterinary dermatologists! Dr. Campbell was kind enough to share these beautiful photos of her own herd with us, and we couldn't resist showing them off.

Cows are curious, intelligent, and gentle animals that play an important role in agriculture and our communities. Whether they're grazing in a pasture or stealing the spotlight in these photos, today is the perfect day to appreciate all they do.

A big thank you to our very own Dr. Campbell for giving us a glimpse into life on her farm and letting us share these wonderful pictures. ❤️

We were honored to partner with the Saint Louis Zoo Animal Health team to help care for Kallu, their beloved polar bear! 🐻‍❄️

Our dermatology team performed an intradermal allergy skin test to investigate the cause of Kallu's thinning coat. The good news? We found no evidence of environmental allergies, helping rule out a major concern and allowing his care team to move forward with treatment focused on hair regrowth.

Caring for wildlife requires collaboration across veterinary specialties, and we're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Kallu's health and well-being alongside the incredible teams at the Saint Louis Zoo and Mizzou Veterinary Health Center - Columbia, MO.

We're excited to follow Kallu's progress and can't wait to see him looking his fluffy best again! 💙
