The greatest holiday gift EVER...our dear friend, Robyn Cook, presented us with this beautiful graphite drawing of our "Pearl". The matriarch of our Hangin Tree Cowdog crew. We will treasure it forever! Thanks Robyn.

On the night before Christmas
no sleeping at all,
every molly & john c**t
was restless in it's stall.
Cowdogs were playing,
paying no attention at all.

They were standing and staring
and wondering why,
they saw something flying
across the dark sky.

they looked to their mothers
"Oh, what could it be?"
"Oh, could it be Santa,
with carrots for me?"

"Or could he be bringing
chew toys for play,
quite frankly, I do hope
there are treats on his sleigh."

And, as he grew closer
they shouted, "He's here!"
And Santa glided to the roof top
with his prancing reindeer.

He lauged as he set out
the big bags of grain,
and rolled oats & corn
showered like rain.

The whole barn of mule foals
danced 'round in their stalls,
and barks of great joy
came bouncing off the walls.

And while they were kicking up
heels in delight,
Santa silently disappeared
into the night.

But, as he flew further
from where they were stalled,
"Good night, mules and cowpups,
Merry Christmas, he called.
