Most people we work with aren’t doing too little with their dog.

They’re doing a lot.

Long walks. Extra activity. Trying to get ahead of the behavior.

And sometimes… it helps. For a little while.

But if your dog is still barking, pacing, or struggling to settle, even after all that effort, you’re not alone.

Now, to be fair, some dogs do need more exercise.

But the clients we see most often?
They’re already doing more than enough… and still stuck.

At that point, it’s usually not about doing more.

It’s about what hasn’t been taught yet.

A tired dog isn’t always a calm dog.

And calm is the part that changes everything.

If you're relying on exercise to manage behaviors, this is what we're talking about:

Sarah got Pippa, a working line Australian Cattle Dog, for her birthday June of 2022. She chose this 🌶️ 🧨 👹 dog specifically to be challenged! She wanted to know just how hard a hard puppy is!

We’ve spent hours building this puppy guide for those of you who want to start off on the right paw, so to speak. It has EVERY lesson our in-person Team Puppy program has just boiled down to thirteen pages. We wanted it to be accessible and available to a wide range of people. It is for ALL breeds, sizes, shapes, and households. Share it, gift it, buy it for a refresher. It’s our core lessons on how to have a good dog, just worded specifically for dogs 8-16 weeks old.

Sigh. Learning how to be a good napper. It takes human patience and loving kindness to teach your dog how to settle, when You want them settle. Not when they’ve run out of energy but because you trained them how to relax!🤗
